The standard or Ultimate edition?

People are saying the Ultimate edition is what should have been in theatres, but I haven't watched it myself so I'm not too sure...
Ultimate.

I couldn't imagine what the original was like

It's better than 27% on rotten tomatoes though

Just finished reading all 7 Killer Instinct comics.

Interestingly gud stuff. Definitely expanded the universe of the 1994 KI with tons of new characters and big story.

My biggest problem it ended abruptly without answering all questions (like what was the fate of the Chairman?)

So I keep thinking, "I gotta use Twitter a little more, I gotta use Twitter a little more, I gotta use Twitter a little more."

And then I'm just like, "You know what? I'll just Tweet that one thing I can't stop thinking about that no one else seems to pay much attention to and pin it for a little while."

There was a problem fetching the tweet

I'm nervous about how heavy that connectivity will be and how it will influence the game, but darn if that comment made forever ago about the app we still don't know about doesn't stick in my head whenever I think about the NX.

Also source here: https://www.nintendo.co.jp/ir/en/library/events/160428/05.html

Although I remember this info bouncing around the internet everywhere for a while.

Ah, the Masahiro Sakurai approach to fighting games.

Let's see how this goes down.
KOF's never been a series to focus on balance so this is nothing new to them.

As long as they avoid another Bao situation they should be fine.

It's been years since Weekly Shonen Jump last had a successful ecchi harem manga (To Love-Ru) and Yuragi-sou no Yuuna-san sold 70k in two weeks.

The salt is seriously real. And I ain't even mad that it's doing good.

Well I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed, then. :happysheep:

It doesn't seem to get much if any attention when I bring it up either. For some reason in the middle of all the talk about what games the NX might have and chatting about various leaks this breadcrumb Nintendo themselves left us keeps flying under the radar.

Inb4 Yuuna confirmed for J-Stars Victory VS 2. :troll:

I'm not surprised. The extra sales are clearly because of the uncut pages and the fact that Shun Saeki's (The artist for Food Wars: Shokugeki no Souma) teacher is the one behind the art. I don't care for it myself but I wish him the best of luck for future sales from his fanservicey world of ghosts and yokai.

Pokémon GO is now live in North America, fyi.
That reminds me how some of my classmates where walking all around the University's campus just to "catch" some Pokes, my smartphone sucks so, I didn't get it. ._. It looks cool and all, but, I'm too busy hunting pokemon plushies and stuff.

Hopefully Pokémon GO will be out in Ireland when I wake up in the morning.

Not sure I could really get into it because it would suck up my battery and my phone credit I'd imagine. But I'll give it a shot around my house.

I'd love if Mewtwo appeared in front of me or something.

I'm just worried if micro transactions is going to kill the fun like Pokémon Shuffle did.
Seems like you'll never have to worry about running out of Pokéballs, which is the main thing, as they can be found everywhere.

Are the Pokémon specific to any area?

I want to hunt Rock types in my local hiking routes.

Remember when Lala (R.I.P.) became a support character in the same game? Yeah, don't expect Ghost ***s to be anything more than a support character. Can you imagine how salty folks will be if she's playable over any To Love-Ru character in a J-Stars sequel?

I had the feeling he would be that popular because of being the teacher of another artist who's working on an already popular shonen manga in the magazine. So ecchi lovers and the same crowd that supported Monster Musume will be all over it like flesh eating flies. In a few years when it is successful, it's hip to **** ghosts will be a new meme. Just wait for the crossovers before we say this won't be dead on arrival like Hungry Joker and Magico.

I recall them saying that at the E3 interview.

Like if you live near a beach, port, or harbour, you can go there to have a higher chance of finding water Pokémon.

And from what I've seen, a standard city/town landscape yields lots of normal types.

Something tells me this fandom will be just as wild as Assassination Classroom if they came up with this.

For me, Deku (Boku no Hero Academia), Asta (Black Clover), and Samon (Samon the Summoner) are the only necessary newcomers needs for a J-Stars Victory VS sequel. And maybe Onimaru (Hinomaru Zumo) and Tanjiro (Kimsetsu no Yaiba), but that depends if they have enough inspiration for a good moveset. Oh, and give me ****ing Nogami Neuro. That mystery-eating demon deserves better than to be a damn support character.

Not a meme yet, but one guy came up with the joke on Mangahere. Though the Ghost ***s fan name definitely grew with plenty of people in the Mangahelper forums. It could definitely be the new "***Class" if used enough.

Deku is obviously my boy. His All-for-One was made for J-Stars. Asta is an alright choice, wish the dialogue in his manga wasn't so childish. Samon would be the ultimate joke character with his demon summoning, but I can imagine his run being weak af since he's no athlete. I don't know, Onimaru would definitely be our first sumo for Jump since we already have a wrestler (Where art thou Kinnikuman?). But most sports series always get the short end of the stick since these characters can't fight. Sumo is all about throwing your weight around, so he's a good fit for a jacked ******. Tanjiro would be neat, but something tells me that Kimetsu no Yamba is likely to be cancelled fast like Mononofu by this winter.

Forget Neuro, why the hell was Allen Walker made into a support character? I don't care if D. Gray-man was on hiatus at the time, he should have been playable over Taro **** Yamada.

So funny timing that this would come out today. Remember how I was saying that assigning custom voice files to a specific costume would result in a the second instance of that character being mute (for example, if I played as Shadow against Sonic, Sonic would have no sounds)?

Well, a fix for that has come out. I don't know what caused your freezing issue, but this MIGHT fix it. It's a bit complicated but I'm about to try this out for myself so hopefully I get it down.

I followed the guide, but it still freezes at the loading screen when I try to load Evil and Vanilla Ryu :/

Trolls though it would be a funny joke to vote for him in the WSJ polls (Yes, I know you already know about it), though it's mostly because of the hiatus D. Gray-man went through.

When this drooling ****er got his own live action movie years after he resurfaced because of that game, those trolls accomplished something big.

Been up to date with Pokemon XY&Z.

The first episode of the Kalos League came out last week, featuring Mega Charizard X vs Mega Charizard Y. Malva is confirmed to be the reporter for the next few episodes. Wondering how Alain vs Trevor turned out?

...Alain steamrolled Trevor

Trevor Mega Evolves Mega Charizard Y, uses two attacks that are nullified by Alain's Charizard, Alain Mega Evolves his Charizard to X, fire follows and creates some smoke that forces Trevor's Mega Charizard Y to fly up, Alain orders his Charizard X to use Flamethrower, the attack hits, and BOOM, Mega Charizard Y was finished.

From there, Trevor uses Aerodactyl and Florges, but both get demolished by Alain's Mega Charizard X. Talk about a crushing first battle.

The episode does focus a little bit on Ash's first round battle as well.

They only show Ash's Greninja vs his opponent's Altaria, and Ash Greninja pretty much destroys Altaria following the transformation. We viewers are left to assume that Ash Greninja probably steamrolled that guy's team just like Alain's Charizard did to Trevor.

Fun fact: Ash almost got disqualified in the first round because he barely made it on time for his first match. Some random dude just had to battle him while he was on his way to the battlefield. This random dude previously tried to challenge Ash before the dinner registration after he overheard Ash telling Malva during the interview he was going to win the League. However, Serena prevented him from doing so because Ash was still on his way to register, so Ash promised he would fight the guy later. When the guy confronts him again, Ash battles him because he couldn't back down on a promise. Luckily, Pikachu beat the guy's Furfrou fairly easy.

That guy's words following also foreshadow that Ash might be winning the League this time. He breaks down in tears after losing and begs Ash to win the League for him.

Tomorrow is where we see round 2 of the League. We're going to see Sawyer vs Tierno and Ash vs Astrid (that trainer based on the generic Ace Trainer class from X/Y from Mega Evolution Act 1 who uses Mega Absol). The latter is worth noting because it's going to be a rematch. Ash previously fought Astrid in the Diancie movie and lost, so it looks like he's going to get his revenge.

I'm pretty sure Yuma Kuga from World Trigger would be a pretty big necessary newcomer to a possible J Stars sequel. Also where the **** was Fuusuke from Ninku?
You know? This guy. From Ninku. Anyone remember that? It was the original freaking Naruto.

Almost forgot about World Trigger. Yuma is definitely an important inclusion with it doing well for this long.

I remember the Ninku anime. Fuusuke is definitely the original Naruto before it was mainstream. He should have been in the game.

I'll believe he wins when I see it.

I do commend the anime team for making his chances seem legitimate this time.

Yugi and Kinnikuman should have been in the game, especially the former.

I wanted to blast people away with Slifer the Sky Dragon again.

Just dropping these here real quick:

Leftover data in Smash for Wii U doesn't confirm that characters were worked on.

Source Gaming is starting a game club! It's like a book club...except we play video games. The first month's game is Sonic the Hedgehog (1991). Full information can be found in that post!

Can't say I'm surprised, but still, poor Mega Charizard Y, it just can't catch a break...

As for Ash, it seems like they're definitely making it seem like he could realistically take it, but after what happened with DP I can't help but be a bit skeptical. It would be a good way to celebrate the 20th anniversary if it did happen though.

So what are the chances someone datamines GO to see which mons are in it?
Some have already started datamining it, while I haven't heard of any mons aside from Kanto's, it does seem to have two new moves in it called Electric Beam and Ice Spikes (dear Helix, no).

So, I tried walking around for a while but I didn't seem to see any pokemon.

Not that I'd know how to tell that

I got Squirtle though, and Blastoise is my favorite pokemon
