Sometimes I wonder if they think that over at Screwattack as they're pretty much the only videos they make now that receive any form of viral attention. I'd love for them to bring back Top 10s & Video Game Vaults in full.I'm looking at this current discussion and the only thing I can think to say is:
"Death Battle was a mistake."
Well that's surprising. I would have thought the latter would stay a Japanese exclusive. I should pull out my old Lumen avatar for fun.Azure Strike Gunvolt anime announced.
The second game will have a physical version that includes the first game and it goes for $30. Published by Yacht Club.
In a similar vein to Mighty #9, it's worth checking out if you like non-Mega Man classic. The biggest differences are that your gun isn't your primary weapon for destroying enemies and that dashes don't work like they do in the MM X/Zero/ZX series (no fancy wall tricks).Never played Gunvolt before, but I've heard TONS about it. Literally almost as popular as Shovel Knight. May give it a go with this sequel...
This isn't Phendrana Drifts. . .Any excuse is a good excuse since they are in this area now...
...I think I can consider this my favourite track in the game...
Well, we -almost- got an Epic Yarn stage if it weren't for Woolly World being announced, and we did get two tracks from Triple Deluxe even if only one was one of the good ones.If there is one track worthy of a Smash remix, it's easily this one
Can you imagine hearing an actual chorus while fighting in a new Kirby stage? Well, that's assuming we will get a stage that isn't from Sakurai's favorite games he developed (Super Star, Kirby's Dreamland, etc).
Hey, no marks against Phendrana Drifts...also a great track and one of my favourites from the game also...This isn't Phendrana Drifts. . .
Just finished watching Dragon Ball Super episode 50.
TMW Mai is still alive
Man, this arc has been weird so far.
At first Goku Black was portrayed as an unstoppable force, but then this week he gets bodied by Goku in just SSJ1 form.
Not even SSJ3, but 1.
Curious to see what they do from here, for all I know, the final battle might just be between Trunks and Black, since Goku is like way OP.
My main complaints with Smash are how dumbed down the gameplay is compared to Melee and typical fighting games is. I've pretty much stuck to playing doubles with my mate, cause 1v1 ****ing sucks. Everyone uses the same damn combos and set ups and it gets really old, really fast. Same goes with the Overpowered counters. I know why Sakurai did it, to heighten the skill floor in order to make the game more accessible to newcomers, but it's really hurt the game at a core level, and for me personally, has made it rather boring overall.I feel like complaints tend to get kind of one-note with most games anymore.
Like, people will just find one or two oftentimes subjective issues and then just utterly dwell on them to the point of ignoring all others.
I mean, complaints can be good for a series. We wouldn't have gotten Breath of the Wild and how good that looks so far without complaints.
But I don't think if it was just one type of complaints dominating the others we would have gotten a game like that. Complaints about being unable to explore are fair ones, but I doubt they were the biggest ones made. There was probably some big thing everyone was dwelling on that wasn't that.
If we want game quality to improve, we can't just settle for complacent complaining. We need to have a sampler tray of issues to set out for Nintendo to taste. That way, even if one or two of our problems are really silly, they can still lift another one to their lips and go, "You know what? They actually kind of have a point."
Like, for example with Smash everyone had phases of what they hated. First it was Wii Fit Trainer, then it was Zero Suit Samus's shoes, then it was Dark Pit, then the CSS, then Cloud, then Corrin and Bayonetta. And it always went in turns, it was never the same thing at high strength at the same time.
Well, why not just have a little selection? I don't hate on added characters because I know how it feels to watch that happen to your favorites, but you could bring back the shoe and CSS issues, complain about a lack of single player campaign, maybe fuss about many of the characters clipping into their own models because that's not really any pettier than complaining about shoes and CSS organization. If it needs a competitive touch, maybe instead of using buzzwords like "slow" and "defensive" you can explain what you feel is wrong in terms a five year old can understand and hope for the best.
It's best to throw a little variety in there, you know? It keeps the people who don't care either way from being as bored and irritated and increases the chances that Nintendo will notice something and actually make a game closer to the way you'd like it to be. No game has just a single flaw.
What the hell is smash? You know, I've always wanted to ask: Just how many of us still go to Smashboards mainly for Smash?
Personally I don't. I've not cared for anything competitive for a long time now. Anything else is mostly there for me whether it be tiers, matchups, or tournaments.
This thread is literally the only thread I visit anymore. You know, I've always wanted to ask: Just how many of us still go to Smashboards mainly for Smash?

I stopped caring much about Smash discussion even before Smash 4 came out.You know, I've always wanted to ask: Just how many of us still go to Smashboards mainly for Smash?

I love this:Unfortunately can't post this directly because there just so happens to be two swear words and we're all five, but someone showed up to HMK's Supercon panel dressed as "Valor Form Deadpool".

No, its pretty darn blunt.I'm currently watching Zootopia for the second time on Blue Ray and I somewhat understand the racism subplot of the movie. And here I thought fans were exaggerating just to make it more interesting.
Well...at first I was here for speculation...of course not anymore since Smash development is finished...You know, I've always wanted to ask: Just how many of us still go to Smashboards mainly for Smash?

If only I could get Sonic, then I'd put him there instead of Peach, and then it's more or less perfect.
I cared about it for, like, 2 days after I joined. You know, I've always wanted to ask: Just how many of us still go to Smashboards mainly for Smash?

It's a bootleg Smash RPG from China.Wait, what game is this? I've never seen it, before.
I cared about it for, like, 2 days after I joined.
But then I realized only talking about Smash is boring.
I do still come here for Smash things, but I have many other reasons for coming here. I enjoy talking about other interests of mine with other people, including other video games. I've made quite a few friends and companions on here. You know, I've always wanted to ask: Just how many of us still go to Smashboards mainly for Smash?

I joined Smashboards during the Smash 4 hype train (more specifically during the fake Palutena leak, if anyone remembers that). You know, I've always wanted to ask: Just how many of us still go to Smashboards mainly for Smash?

I joined Smashboards beause of Smash 4 Speculation. I remember lurking ever since late 2013, so i decided to join Smashboards to express my wishes and expectations (in other words, post Golden Sun comics, make wierd jokes and questions in the K.Rool thread and take ownership of the Simon Belmont thread)You know, I've always wanted to ask: Just how many of us still go to Smashboards mainly for Smash?
