GameXplain brought up the Sonic movie in the recent Sonic discussion.

Honestly, I want this movie to be like TMNT: Outside of the Shadows. Probably not something as stupid, but make it a lot of fun.

I died a little when they said:

"Make it a Sonic and the Black Knight adaptation!"
"I thought you said you wanted a good movie?"

Is late June "everyone roast Black Knight" season or something? All this sudden ripping on this particular game really came outta nowhere.

In any case, I think the movie will be good. Marza Animation is working on it so at least Sonic and friends will look themselves.

I've still not got a straight answer on what the music in the WFT's trailer was. It's been over a year now.

While I think Black Knight is nowhere near as bad as some make it out to be, it was never really one of the more popular games in the series, at least in terms of gameplay.

I'm sure the movie will look good, Marza Animation does amazing work, I'm just worried about the live-action element.

They already said they'd probably start doing VR themselves if it becomes a mainstream thing....no surprise they're already looking into it, especially since PSVR is coming later this year...

Phantoon fight was amazing though. A huge, action filled, setpiece with a stage being torn to bits. It was great. Too bad it was one of but a few glimmers

Robocop for the Gameboy has some amazing music.

This game came out in 1990, yet it sounds better than a whole lot of GB games that came after it.

Seriously, the Title Screen song doesn't sound like something you would hear in a Gameboy:

Phantoon was an alright boss fight, neat redesign (Wall-masters and all)....except for one thing....Why the **** was it even in the game in the first place? No rhyme or reason just, 'Hey surprise final boss fight from Super Metroid!'.........and it's not Kraid....
same can be said about Nightmare....arguably the Metroid Queen as well...cuz it sure as heck confused the hell out of me when I first saw it...

Surprised you mentioned nothing about the pointless Zero suit segment afterwards...just a last minute piece of fan-service with no logical reasoning behind why Samus doesn't even bother putting her Power Suit back on...

I wanted to but it's late and I have to be up early but now I have a smidge of extra time.

It is pretty ****ty though, especially because zero mission was the last Metroid I played.

In zero mission it was executed beautifully. You get stripped of your powers and feel utterly helpless. The Hunter becomes the hunted. And then afterwards you get a HUGE power buff and go from weakling to powerhouse in an instant, and get revenge while feeling like a god with too much power.


Other M's is just there :/

Well tonight on For Glory has been eventful to say the least,
Had a fight against Lythero which wasn't my best fight of the night but still.
And had a match on the trophy rush stage which caught me off guard even though I disconnected right after we spawned in.
So on that topic just curious here, I assume stage mods do not work in For Glory and that's why I was disconnected?

Why were people thinking a "3rd pillar" thing was going to happen anyways? The Wii U can't get in a decent amount of cash in, and it was pretty clear Nintendo was bailing out on it in the last year.

Barely any people believed on Nintendo when they said that the NX was a "3rd pillar". I didn't believe in it, and most of you here most likely didn't believe in it either.

I knew 100% that the NX was a sucessor to the Wii U, especially when they announced that Breath of The Wild was coming to the NX. Yeah, the NX isn't really a "replacement" for the Wii U, but the Gamecube wasn't exactly a "replacement" for the N64, was it?

I know that trick Nintendo, you aren't fooling anyone here.

I'm glad they are waiting. Keep me in the dark about all of this, that just raises my excitement even more. We already know it's coming out early next year anyway, being patient till the holiday season will really pay off to everyone anticipating the NX.

Exactly...in Zero Mission it was the contrast in your abilities that made the Zero suit segment so great...you were once a badass, now you need to tread carefully so you don't die, if you get spotted things get really intense as your being chased, you hide in the shadows and hope you're not found...then the feeling of empowerment whenever you finally re-aqcuire your suit and then some and then get one of the greatest feelings of satisfaction as you blast your way through dozens of space pirates...

It boggles my mind that it's the same person that directed both of these games...Sakamoto did wonders with the subtleties in Zero Mission and Fusion but in Other M he just threw it all out the window...

There's really not much of a point in supporting what is essentially a dying platform.

Nothing is going to change Wii U. MK8 didn't save it, Smash didn't save it, Splatoon didn't save it, and Super Mario Maker didn't save it either. It is what it is.

Also Breath of the Wild needs 2m copies to be considered a success, in order to make up for the development costs. By using resources from Zelda on other software, they can make more compact titles, they said. So pretty much things like reusing the engine.

Rashid and F.A.N.G. They were my favourites, but alas, not enough to keep me entertained for so long. Which is another reason as to why the game's no longer in my collection - I want to see new faces to the world of SF, alongside many returning characters (Plug for Q, Remy and Yun), but when you put it into perspective: 4 newcomers surrounded by 12 veterans at launch... You can see the story clearly.

...And admittedly I don't think the MacBook likes straw polls a lot.

Funny. I couldn't take the Chapter 2 gravure scene serious anymore after remembering similar salt for her hipster clothes (though they look cute).

Oh how controversy over covered up clothes makes some scenes in the game funnier than they should.

Also Adam shoots Samus to prevent her from killing Metroids that 'may or may not be' vulnerable to ice... right before Samus was about to kill a metroid that 'may or may not be' vulnerable to ice...and ends up killing this metroid that once again 'may or may not be' vulnerable to ice...with ice right after...even though he wasn't sure that it was in fact vulnerable to ice...also why does Samus take ten years to recover from one ice shot, as if she hadn't taken any significantly powerful blasts of ice before?...oh yeah plot convenience...

Every time someone mentions Sakamoto I think of Mr.Sakamoto the talking cat from Nichijou.

I would personally like to see the Spirit Train Stage ported over if only for the fact that I've got way too many songs modded into the Pirate Ship Stage and would like to move some of the Spirit Tracks songs over to that stage instead. (Assuming we can put these stages into their own separate slots of course.)
