Ghostfreak was probably the best villain in the original series, his arc actually had a lot of set up before it too
And yeah, I guess you could say he was kinda... freaky
Seriously though, that thing was the scariest **** I had ever seen in a cartoon during my childhood
But then I watched Coraline...
There's also his Alien Force transformation sequence, in which you see Ben's skeleton twist and such in a ****ing freaky way
Coraline was also a book, imagine that as a bedtime story. It was actually creepier iirc

Oh, right. CEO is today.

And there's upsets already lol. Palutena doesn't look like a ****ty character anymore; last time I checked she's been getting results. So, mid tier maybe?

I remembered something else that made Ghostfreak a good villain. Ben DIDN'T lose the ability to use him, as you can see his symbol appear in later episodes sometimes. Ben's too traumatized to use him though!

Playing so much Fire Emblem Fates prior to this always makes me think of Takumi's cutscene whenever I use Archer Kirby.
Now I'm imagining Kirby as Takumi too
Actually, a quick Google search had just what I wanted

Who the **** is kirby9612 tho?

I can die happy knowing that I've heard Eggman say the word "booty" in an officially sanctioned voice recording from Mike Pollock.

The other mother was always grotesque, and her hand wasn't actually a mechanical thing, it was an actual fleshy hand
Also, I found out that Omniverse, the ****tiest unnecessary sequel, did something great with Ghostfreak

This makes too much sense

There was a problem fetching the tweet

Pretty sure he had his own arc in omniverse where he controlled the people at Gwen's university or the circus villains. It's where they kill Micheal Morning Sta I believe.

And I liked omniverse, but it got bad near the end.

Wait, so they rehashed his villain debut? smh

They tried to make losing Ben's new favourite toy tragic and emotional iirc. The artstyle also just looked wrong

If Kirby were speaking that line, I can imagine Kirby sounding like...

"You've abandoned your family, and Hisheedo!" Now pay for your beetrayal!"

I've been playing Team Kirby Clash, and i must say that it is really fun.

However there is one small problem.......

the EX Boss is just a more powerfull version of Landia.

The Computer Virus should have been the EX Boss of Team Kirby Clash

Trying to give Advance Wars a fair shot

By the 8th mission there have already been 2 missions with Fog of War (which is 100 times worse in AW than it was in 7 and the single one i've seen in 6 based on how units work) and a level that is 100% designed to be tedious and the rest have been relatively boring (Max's folly is just move forward and win).

IS plz.

The genuine glee with which Eggman says "DEUS EX" is great.

I'm excited for the Pokémon news next week. If it contains the CoroCoro content, I expect extra stuff as well.

And these Sonic/Eggman tweets are hilarious.

good times

I'm on Mission 8, the one where you unlock Sami

. . . even though it seems like she is completely useless for this mission as infantry isn't going to be doing **** against air units and capturing cities doesn't matter when you have no way to build units. (Sami says "This Map is MADE for me" though! lol)

I thought you would have known about FoW now? Your acting like it's a surprise lol. Like I said before FoW VS CPU's was designed to give the CPU an advantage as I mentioned before.

Well then your going to have to take out Eagle's air units that initially come after you in the mission. That particular level is pretty cheap due to Eagle's air units ready to screw you over so you'll have to bait his units out and then take out his land units on the other side of the map.

Advance Wars is pretty easy barring Sturm and one of the water missions.

I'm actually surprised that people consider it hard.

Sorry, but having to memorize EVERYTHING AND getting screwed by Fog of War all the time isn't fun. Especially if you can't build units in said FoW missions
I mean... It's a strategy game. If you don't memorize things you're hurting yourself.

And in later missions you can. You quit at chapter 8. Girl you barely got into it.

Cutie Gwen Cutie Gwen is too casual for AW.

She wouldn't survive Dual Strike which is harder than the first or second GBA games.

She could probably beat Days of Ruin

Hard != tedious/boring

I haven't had any difficulty issue with any of the 7 missions i've played (didn't bother with 8 when I saw it was another FoW)
One of the missions is so easy it literally can be one by just pressing forward and ignoring everything to kill ONE unit (Which is not a good thing btw)

The other 6 have just been slow or uninteresting, even with all animations turned off. Especially Mission 3 which is designed to be tedious for some reason.

I'm hoping this is just a slow start like a lot of RPG style games have, but I expected AW's mechanics to lead to not being very slow, instead of being one of the slowest i've ever played. So far the only one I gained any satisfaction one was 5(?) and even then you can just cheese it with a lander :/

That's because I expected a fair strategy game. Not a game in which I fight 50 professional boxers while my arm is yanked off. I get that making a comeback is supposed to be the point, but when I HAVE to capture a base with limited units, without being able to make any, in FoW, where enemies are scattered EVERYWHERE, it stops being strategy. It becomes luckbased and trial and error. I guess I should have known there were 6 enemies in the way I went beforehand when I first played
