Apparently the Switch is doing phenomenal in Japan.

Encouraging but does it mean much?

I figured that was to be expected. Due to Japanese players being almost strictly mobile players I figure the Switch Version of any game that is released across multiple platforms will sell better.

On the other hand Americans like to sit down in front of a TV with surround sound on a couch and get lost in a game. Traditionally Americans even play their handhelds like 3DS at home.

Crazy how different the two cultures are.

I think it does mean a lot to Japan. And of course it's a Console Handhelds Hybrid so that is attractive to almost everyone due to its innovation. So yeah, I think it's really good it's doing really well in Japan. Hopefully, it'll do even better overseas.

I've heard that the HD rumble does work while docked. The report/impression I read said that you could feel the road getting rougher on either side of your vehicle in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, allowing you to know if you're veering off track.

Resolution wise, Switch doesn't do anything more than the Wii U. Unless they up the visuals, not much better. But, you do get the game on the go, so that's a neat touch.

Nah, Niles is pretty hot. He's almost like the Tharja of Husbandos.

First off, I didn't use Ryoma due to an aversion to using pre-promoted units. I feel it cheapens the game. Though his cutscenes make him pretty likeable.

Hinoka, Sakura and Takumi.... just got overshadowed by Subaki, Elise and Setsuna respectively.

And Takumi... I understand that he had some serious issues, as was revealed later on, but it immediately alienated me. Being a jerk is understandable, but going out of your way to be like that turned me off I guess. (Though it's not Takumi's fault alone. Leo's uncaring façade turned me away from him too).

As for Elise and Sakura, well, Energetic > Shy.

Thoughts on my Conquest play through so far.
- I've taken a fancy to Beruka. She knows how to deliver a punchline.
- I probably won't be using Camilla or Xander due to similar reasons as Ryoma.
- Effie is interesting and feels like a counterpart to Oboro for me. Before playing the game, I expected Oboro to have a deeper voice and be somewhat hot blooded, while I expected Effie to be more girly. Look how that turned out.

Well, it might not have any new tracks but at least they're making the Battle Mode playable

Wait, 5 range?!

I mean, ballista do like double that for the same effectiveness against flyers, but that's at the cost of nearly all their movement. On a mounted unit that's downright absurd.

. . .Speaking of ballista, I kind of miss them, if only for variety. Having to use a unit weak against them that can only bypass their range post-promote in order to recruit them not so much, but that's a whole other matter.

Don't have decent internet access for consoles or a compatible credit/debit card? Technically if it's in the threshold of buying entire systems you could get a Wii U and download them off of there.

Also, anybody playing any old games that you haven't played in a while, you play it again after so long, you have fun with it and then it makes you wish, "I wish a sequel/new game for this series would come out for this generation." I have been playing some Megaman Battle Network games myself lately.

That aside, if you have a Wii U, you can buy any of the Battle Network games on the Virtual Console, besides Double Team DS(which is a shame, considering that game is superior to Battle Network 5 with it's extra features, besides Voice Acting). Not only that, but in the games with the different copies, you can go to Comm in those games and get the Chips from the other version and promotional chips for free. Like in Battle Network 3 Blue, you can get the Punk, MistManV2/3/4, Delta Ray and BassGS chips. And for Megaman Battle Network 5, you can not only get the Chips, but also the rare Bass Soul.

Here's the thing, Megaman Battle Network has ALWAYS been Nintendo exclusive and the only way to buy that game digitally is a Wii U which I'm not paying $300 for a GBA game when I rather just wait for VC of GBA on Switch which is bound to happen and it upsets me that GBA VC should have been on atleast New 3DS but somehow can run SNES games which are harder to emulate
