I figured that was to be expected. Due to Japanese players being almost strictly mobile players I figure the Switch Version of any game that is released across multiple platforms will sell better.Apparently the Switch is doing phenomenal in Japan.
Encouraging but does it mean much?
On the other hand Americans like to sit down in front of a TV with surround sound on a couch and get lost in a game. Traditionally Americans even play their handhelds like 3DS at home.
Crazy how different the two cultures are.
I think it does mean a lot to Japan. And of course it's a Console Handhelds Hybrid so that is attractive to almost everyone due to its innovation. So yeah, I think it's really good it's doing really well in Japan. Hopefully, it'll do even better overseas.
