Since I've only really beaten Phantom Hourglass, I mostly just have Linebeck on my list at the moment.

I wondered if someone in the concept art might actually be him in a different outfit, though, seeing as they had a similar mustache and bags under their eyes. That's what got me thinking about him in the first place.

Our new RA isn't very popular for multiple reasosns. Some deserved. Some undeserved.

We had a meeting last night and... it was not very good. The RA made several mistakes.

Still today people founds ***** drawn on some of his posters. I'm rather angry.

Character growth in a Zelda game not involving twenty-odd false faces is a rare and delicious treat. Growth into eleventh-hour heroism is all the better.

Oh man. . .actually looking at that GameXplain comment section. . .yeah that's a good mix of angry otakus not knowing how to take a compromise and angry 'Murica dudebros gloating at them.

Honestly, the fact that you can switch languages at all on any copy should be counted as a win rather than a loss, or at least a compromise, and then there's the lack of region locking. Look how far you guys brought this. You should be patting yourselves on the back, not being upset that every single thing didn't click into place at once. One thing wrong isn't the end of the world, and it certainly isn't worth cancelling preorders and spouting profane insults over.

On the other hand, 'Murica isn't being any better. Yes, people are being unreasonably upset about things that never even had voice acting or a voice option like that in the first place. That's not an excuse for attacking their hobbies as a whole and especially not them personally, and it makes you look like just as much of a child as they do by doing so.

We've been pretty fortunate in the western world to have people be agreeable.

But you all know the best way to combat that thinking? Just listen to someone. Go to a park, a coffeehouse, anywhere not the net. See some real people, and let them know what you think (respectfully).

I'm only aiming for an abundant life by this point. Nothing more.

I mean, I can see why their complaints are somewhat legitimate. There's a lot of people who prefer a dub that's not in their language because they feel it's delivered better or is more immersive, but they'll still want to understand what's going on.

The Director is a bit of a **** but he quickly said sorry by giving us many gifts of ammunition and explosives. . ..like a lot of them. Like. . .way too many for us to use.

Apparently it's because they specifically want to listen to the Japanese VAs but can't read Japanese and still want subs.

Personally I think after all the things that community begged for that they got very recently that they should at least be a little less upset about it, at least until further into the system's lifespan, but I guess for some people it really is all or nothing.

It's fine for them to want it and ask for it, just. . .

Yeah, I'm uncertain. Probably just a simple oversight, because using another language to play your game is not something I see many people doing with Nintendo titles so they prob just figured people would be satisfied with the audio of their native language.

Who knows, perhaps they'll patch it later due to the feedback!

I don't see them doing it with this specific game, but considering how much they've tried fixing other issues people have on that front I can see them offering the option in future games. That's part of why I feel this strong of backlash is a bit hasty, although I suppose it could also be useful in accelerating the process.

If there's a reason why they can't, then I would assume that they would eventually bring that to light instead. . .and then be ignored.
