Sorry to ask you again if you have seen my previous post.
But do you think you can trade a no-shiny Buzzwole with good state? (And named O'Chunks?)
Thanks for any answer and sorry if I bother you with this.
What do you mean by a "good state"?

Edit: Do you mean stats? Meaning you want perfect IVs?

Edit 2: Also I cannot change the name unless it was caught by me. So unless you caught it yourself, I cannot help you with the name.

Animal crossing for all the tools
That's. . .actually kind of perfect. I hope they do that.

There's the sensation of dirt with normal digging, the clunk of a shovel against a solid object, the thunk of an axe against a tree, the running of water from a watering can, the gentle fwomp of a bug net, the even lighter sensation of casting a line with a little plunk at the end. It's both a good variety and would help immensely with immersion.

For a less important usage in Animal Crossing, they could also use different vibrations depending on what sound an object makes when you drag it around your house decorating. And swimming as well, if they brought that back from New Leaf.

Wait, you don't capture Pokemon when you are hacking?
And yeah, good IV. I am not good on those stuff but I just want my Buzzwole to be powerful.
And if you can't change name, then so be it.

Nah, she's no ripoff.

She's just a nerfed version of Kumamon.
Before Psycho Villager, there was Satanic Kumamon.

Funny how one Japanese mascot would spawn such creepy memes.

I can generate one and name it myself but the success rate of generated pokemon being tradable is like 30% or less. I'd catch it myself, except I have Moon so I could only get it through trade. But I can do everything else. I just need to clone one I already have, alter it, then it will be ready. I will be available after 3:30 pm my time (pacific standard). So just let me know.

30%? That means a genned mon can be unstable even if it has normal moves and ability?

I have asked to my sister, and it will be like 8:30 in the morning.
It's possible but I have to wake up before it.
So, if it's only possible now, then I will try my best.

I get the feeling I'm a pretty rare type for being legit hyped for HD rumble.

It's a gimmick that doesn't necessarily require you to do anything or for games to be designed around it in order to get a benefit. Granted, 1-2-Switch was designed around it ANYWAY, but I can see games like that being phased out in favor of otherwise normal gameplay experiences that simply use it to enhance immersion fairly quickly.

I just thought of another application. Imagine using Pokemon Refresh or an equivalent, especially in console mode with the IR function. Most normal Pokemon gameplay isn't really hands-on enough for me to picture it being used, but Pokemon petting has a fair few different situations that rumble could be used for. Hopefully they continue to retain the feature and give it HD rumble compatibility.

Oh- I did not know this. GameStop apparently takes games without boxes. I was wondering what I was gonna do with these other games.

Well that makes my life a wee bit easier. Next time I go, I might be able to grab a new game or two depending on the currency I collect. If its at least one, GTA 5 is my priority. If more, I'll also try to nab Minecraft or something. Maybe take a look into what kinds of DLC I can get for my current roster. I dunno.

EDIT: I just found out Cave Story is coming to Switch.

Skyrim, Cave Story... This console is already awesome.

I wonder if 1-2 Switch would have gotten nearly as much flack had they just made it a part for a Wario Ware game.....

I think HD Rumble in of its own would probably be a neat concept in of its own in terms of immersion for certain games.

I am questioning why Ubisoft is making a "definitive version" of Rayman Legends. The game was fantastic and a masterpiece, for sure, but why sell the exact same game with presumably minor extra goodies that the Wii U version won't have? Unless this helps Rayman get into Smash or something (if that is even their plan), there's a good chance I'm not going to buy it.

I suppose there's also the possibility they are making this version so those who missed out on the Wii U that could not buy the original Rayman Legends can now buy it. That's the only other reason why I am thinking they are doing this.

It's a cheap way to gauge interest on the new platform. Like a ton of the other third party ports, it's more or less just a way to figure out whether the Switch really is worth the investment.
Could they have done more to differentiate it from the original release? Sure. But why spend money on something they're not even sure will succeed?

And don't forget that they said it selling well would mean more Rayman games.

I really hate it when big gaming companies gamble like this. Not like the original game met with their expectations.

I haven't had much luck so far with it. The genned mon that I generate are received through wondercard, so that probably has something to do with it. I generally don't even try and trade them anymore. I only use that kind of hack if I want a pokemon from previous gen.

That was actually a high point for me in the reveal.

The puzzle game applications are endless.

So Pokémon caught/bred by normal methods that then got modified to be shiny, have 6IVs, etc. are easier to trade, right?

My vote both doesn't really matter and I couldn't even take advantage of it if it did for multiple reasons, but if we're all sharing our Fire Emblem Ballot votes then here's my choices so far.

I get the feeling my preferences may not be mainstream. Just a hunch.

Correct. Pokemon caught by normal means and altered I have not had any problems with.

Actually I take that back. Maxing out EVs across the board makes them un-tradable. I haven't tried to trade any pokemon with abilities/hidden abilities or movesets that are not normally available to them, but I would imagine that might create a problem as well. Still, doesn't hurt to try. But I altered a mon for @Chandeelure giving Garchomp and Pyukumuku their hidden abilities over their normal ones and they traded just fine.

I cloned a genn'd pokemon and most copies can be traded. But not ALL of them. Strange since they are identical

maybe they'll actually make it feel like a finished game, and make it at least half as good a game Origins was

That's good to know, probably that is the method used by true GTS bros that put Shiny Japanese 6IV Ditto with cool items and ask for common mon; they get a JPN Ditto, alter its stats to perfection, clone it and then to the GTS.
Im trying my luck to get one of those.

Is this real, somebody NEVER heard of Shokio before?

What planet am I living on anymore?

Though speaking seriously, the launch itself is objectively worse than the Gamecube and Wii's.
Is he like a big Youtuber? I mean I used to subbed his channel for like a very time time. But he rarely post videos after Smash4. And with his recent views on Switch, I unsubbed his channel because well, he points out Etika and Obe1 stop being fake… and his opinions on Switch are just… not gonna bother.

How bad is it?

I make a point of avoiding watching YouTube channels with opinions too negative for me to enjoy myself watching them and I hardly ever actively look for gaming Youtube channels and am pretty out of the loop, but I may as well ask what specifically he's going on about since this implies it's pretty bad.

So I'm heading off to a retreat this weekend. That said, either I won't be as active online this next day and most of Sunday, or maybe I won't be on here until Sunday evening. This means my next Fire Emblem Choose Your Legends might not be coming tonight. I'll find out the situation when I arrive at my destination.

That said, just in case, have a good night everyone!

From that video with Michel Ancel, the new stuff could just be some new mini games and costumes.

The official Rayman Facebook page said if the Switch version sells, we could possibly get a new game. I'm not sure if that's an incentive for you, but it is for me.

Honestly, I'd only have interest if it helps Rayman get into Smash, as I've said before. Sure, a new game would be nice, but I otherwise have no other reasons I would want to repurchase the game.

Hey folks! I just wanted to test the waters for something here.

Is anyone here interested in map/dungeon/world design for something like an RPG, even if it's only from a drawing or sketch perspective if not full-on Sprite/Model design?

If anyone knows anything about that here, or would like doing it, or would even just be interested in trying this, just let me know!

Thanks for being awesome, people. :p

According to a IGN Portugal interview with Aonuma, you won't be able to play Breath of the Wild with English text and Japanese voices and viceversa (dual audio). You would have to change the system language to the desired language as is the case with 3DS and Wii U, and like on those two platforms, the game will render it all on the language you choose. I assume this isn't just for Breath of the Wild and is meant for all Switch software.

Aonuma said:
“In the case of Nintendo Switch, if you change the language of the system, you can change the game to Japanese, but that will change everything to Japanese. Unfortunately, it is not possible to play with English text, for example, and Japanese voices.”

I think it's best to avoid any of the YouTube channels that make "console wars" videos. Their entire channels are devoted to drama and attacking one another :/

Meh, the fact a core title finally getting voice acting is enough for me (plus I'm not a fan of dubs not in English)

Christ, the GameXplain comment section is cancer.

Because of what, no dual audio?

Yes, he's been busy lately due to jobs and responsibilities.

But he did come back however to critique the Switch. While I do agree he's a bit too critical, he does have a few points like the meh launch and expensive peripherals.

The bloody GX comment section in a nutshell.

"Haha weaboos suck because their precious dual audio isn't happening. Then you aren't a real American, creepy body pillow huggers with your stupid anime avatars."

And I though we were already past this **** with Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE.
