Although I have played both games originally on PS3 before getting (one of them) on my PC, I think my choices from this list would be Final Fantasy VIII and Portal 2. If you're looking for some witty humour and potential meme fuel mixed in with several brainteasing puzzles, Portal 2 is a go to game. If you're looking for an RPG with often confusing mechanics that make sense when finally in the context of them and getting seeing some military academy students fight off against a powerful time witch with a dosage of edginess and leg cramps now and then, then Final Fantasy VIII is on offer.

should probably backtrack and buy some of the Art upgrades as some Arts I'm using don't seem to be doing the job as well as they could be...but then there's also having enough money....which I get by completing side quests....

Dead Rising 4 lacks a lot of polish.

Just watched the newest episode of the Sun and Moon anime.

Yeah, it's official. Kiawe is my favorite character of Ash's group, and this episode does a great job giving him some awesome spotlight, and even backstory. If you're a Kiawe fan, This episode is definitely worth watching.

But there lots of great things that happened in this episode too:

Spoiler: Short Review of Highlights

First off, it's revealed that Kiawe's Charizard was a gift from his grandfather (and he gave it to Kiawe when the latter was only a child), and the episode confirms he got his Z-Ring from Olivia. Wait, Olivia made an appearance? Yep, she did, but it was only a cameo, and they only showed her foot right before Kiawe's battle with her.

Kiawe has a pretty cool family too. His parents are really tall, even taller than Kiawe to be exact. His younger sister was an enjoyable character too. She's pretty determined in helping her family, but Kiawe is over-protective for her that he does his best to prevent her from lifting heavy objects so that she won't hurt herself.

One of my favorite moments in the episode has to be the dinner scene. Typical Ash is about to feast on the food right away, but Kiawe's mother stops him and tells him it's time to pray. Kiawe's family then turns quiet and offers their prayers, with Ash looking confused yet awestruck at the same time. This scene does a pretty good job visualizing the Alola civillians' respect for nature, and Ash's reaction to it is fitting for someone who is learning about a unique culture to a region.

Did I mention Team Skull makes an appearance in this episode? Yep, I didn't expect to see them here, but they showed up. It's the same three grunts from episode 1. They attacked the Pelliper Ash was riding on, injuring its wing in the process. This leads to Ash and Kiawe fighting the Grunts again, but Ash completely obliterates them by using his new Electrium-Z (and this is the first time he uses it in battle).

Next week's episode will be the beach episode, and the preview looks interesting:

Yeah... it looks like Bewear won't be James's first Alola Pokemon at all. Watch the preview and you'll see who it will probably be. It's a very surprising one.

Apparently yes. Assuming you enjoy the kinds of voxel sandbox games its mechanics are based on, the execution was well enough done.

More personally, I've seriously, genuinely considered acquiring a PS4 at some point in the near future. I thought I'd mostly be able to disregard it with a PC, and have been largely right, but they gotta keep punching me right in the goddamn Squeenix.

Builders, Woff, KH2.8, FFXV (despite criticisms), KH3 (eventually). Throw Gravity Rush 2 in somewhere. Not to mention all the things I've missed due to only recently beginning to care.

Well; as the weeks go by, I am hoping to see some news/announcement related to Smash Brothers (as is tradition for me). Although there still is a debate remaining; will it be a port or a new game entirely? That's what I am wondering about...

If it comes out in 2017 or 2018, it'll be a port.

I do expect the port to occur simply because Ninty's effectively sunsetting the Wii U - although they sunset the Gamecube years ago, and here we are still playing Melee, and here they are sponsoring major competitive events, so who knows.

The real trouble would be the name, though - it would be unlikely to be called Smash Switch if a new installment was being planned, and they would be equally unlikely to retain the Wii U moniker if they wanted to fully move on from that system. I'd expect it would get an actual subtitle this time, but Sakurai only knows what.

However, unless there's some real development shakeups, I predict we aren't gonna see a new game in the series for a long while.

Saw that, but not super hyped for them, nor Issac.

They remain savvy moves, it's just that their hype trains somewhat ran out of steam (and Steam) some time ago.

I do suppose they'll be a nice bonus for anyone who grabs the Switch as a first system, or otherwise avoided them till now somehow.
