After remembering the Sonic 06 Unreal Engine demo, I have to say, the only way to fix that it by making a different game. The story is an absolute cluster****, the HUB will remain worthless, Sonic's gems are either not getting fixed or the peeps will not know how to change them up, Kingdom Valley for Shadow would still need keys and a stupid camera that doesn't help when instakill hazards could fall on you, Silver will most likely still be too sluggish to enjoy, etc.

tldr: That game has more problems than glitches, won't be fixed in the slightest

Didn't that mod rebuild the stage from the ground up with Modern Sonic in it? Because that's different to remaking it on Unity. And my mistake

The reason he likely hates the "Inkling and Ice Climbers bandwagon" is because it undervalues the massive odds that Daisy clearly has.

You're thinking of Paraxade0's Wave Ocean mod, which retooled the stage to be a Modern Sonic stage.

I'm referring to brianuuSonic's Sonic '06 Project, which is essentially a remake of Sonic '06 in Generations. It also comes with an optional mod that changes Sonic's model and properties to be more suited to '06's levels. And man, after watching the first episode, it's just as enjiyable as I'd expect and the animation is the Trigger quality everyone knows and loves.

Yeah, that's the thing. We know jack about the Ballot other than how Bayo placed. Saying something like it'll be a character the general public wants is a very vague statement because we don't know what this supposive silent voter base is voting for. Bayo, a character hardcore fans would normally want won the Ballot meaning that argument hardly means much.

And besides, I usually find this argument to be dismissive of what vocal fans think or want from the game. Whose to say there's even a huge disparity between what vocal and non-vocal fans want? Like you said, we hardly know anything about the Ballot.
