Well I mean why would you watch Super without finishing classic or Kai?

Toonami's airing Super alongside the DBZ Kai version of the Buu Saga. I wasn't sure if I could watch alongside each other, or finish Kai.

Let's put it like this, have you ever seen the Buu Saga?

If not, then watch the Buu to at least finish it out. Be warned, this Saga is ****ing long, tedious and infuriating

Toonami has aired the first episode of Super and DBZ Kai: The Final Chapters. Will there be things in Super I won't understand unless I finish DBZ Kai?

It depends. If you have watched up to the Cell Saga up to Kai AND are watching Kai: Buu Saga, Your fine. A little confused but if you can make some infrences about the events then I guess you'll be alright. Of coarse, it would be a 10x better experience to have already watched the Buu Saga or played an abridged version in the better of the DBZ games (I recommend Buu's Fury, Raging Blast, Butokai, but any one is fine.).
If your talking exclusively Kai stuff, there isn't much if not any exclusive stuff. So you'll get it fine if you know the Buu Saga in any other DBZ media.
If you haven't watched the Sagas after Freeza the curve turned into a mountain. If this is the case, just guess around and don't try too hard to get it.

A) BW was the only protag not "confirmed" via Generations.
B) She's the only time I felt the female protag was designed first... more fitting to lead.
C) N's always seemed more right playing off of Hilda, romantic undertones included. His longing for them in B2W2 always seemed like something more than a "Rivalry."

I was on Saltybet listening to a song with violins in it and I suddenly I was reminded of something and wanted to share this.

(I swear I remembered this as an instrumental but I only see this version when I checked for a playlist. Oh well, let the Japanese flow through you!)

There's a lot of things I think either one or both Xenoblades handled better than this game, but this song is pretty darn good and worth sharing once in a while. Funny what our old Professor Layton/Yokai Watch guys were up to. . .nine years ago already?

If you have a PS3 and like MMO-likes, though, this would probably still be at least worth checking out. I think the second game had the first game packed in, so you'd probably want to spring for that one if you got it.

If they're gonna get the "Red" treatment, they should just have all starters(also to not play favorites because we all know there's no such thing as "canon" starters)
And Ethan should have Tyranitar instead of Dragonite for obvious reasons

Dragonite is there to represent the dratini with extreme speed from the dragon master. It makes more sense than T-Tar on him.

to be frank no.The only major thing that happens arc that impacts Super is 2 things. Majin buu becomes a good guy.And fusion.Both of which i assume you knew about.Everything else has no real affect on the story and wont bother you.Especially since Super is basically new stories with little reference to Z

I did actually.

I thought it was really good, maybe a tad too long but I really got into it by the end. Which is saying something for me because I usually don't get too invested in two dudes I've never seen before in a match.

I did actually.

I thought it was really good, maybe a tad too long but I really got into it by the end. Which is saying something for me because I usually don't get too invested in two dudes I've never seen before in a match.

Yeah. Personally I felt the first part of the match was a bit slow and that it seemed to go on for quite a while. Something like 50 minutes almost.

The match did really pick up towards the 2nd half as I said before. I feel that the match is an early MoTY contender and might as well should be MoTY unless something blows it out of the water.

I haven't watched NJPW before but after this match i'm defiantly going to start watching regularly and catching up on old classic matches.

It's worth the watch whenever you have time and it's up on Youtube.
