Right, but how crucial was it to know what was going on onscreen while the segments were taking place? And, moreso, why?Yup. THOSE segments. Playing via the gamepad is always with first person iirc
It's for making precise shots, which isn't helpful when you need to steer away from crashing.Right, but how crucial was it to know what was going on onscreen while the segments were taking place? And, moreso, why?
If it was because you couldn't navigate the map properly while dogfighting, which I believe I heard about but may be confusing my information, then that's where I'd draw a line and suggest that either the level design accomodate it or the heads-up display offer some way of ensuring you don't run into things.
Nah, I didn't miss it. My point still stands since judgment was still passed despite ignorance of the full story. You must of missed where they told me that they didnt put "caution: hot" on the cups and I said "ah ok" because
Now I put the blame on Mcdonolds for not putting something that should of been on the cup. ont he cup and for making the coffee so hot.
Merry Christmas! This is IGA.
Last update we shared how we build the environment, so for this update, we would like to introduce you to a new stage based on that method. Previously, we shared the ship and the castle entrance. I would like to introduce you to the village this time.
As we mentioned at the beginning of our Kickstarter campaign, Bloodstained takes place in a castle! So now you're probably thinking, "What's this, a village?"
I thought so, too, but yes: We have a village. In the narrative, we're still headed to the island where the castle emerged. There's a village nearby that we'll have to pass through on our way to the castle entrance.
As you can tell from the video, the village is red, which has nothing to do with Christmas! During the eruption of the Laki volcanic fissure in 1783 and 1784, "the afternoon sky was dark as night and red as blood," according to a contemporary saying from Hampshire, England. So we tried to express that in the afternoon scene you see here.
Building your visuals from a piece of historical data makes the world more realistic. (The internet is so useful!) The village is also under the demons' attack, so of course there will be enemies here. We are also planning to put a shop here to support the player, and you'll find Johannes, who we introduced previously, here too.
In addition to Johannes...Oh, we can't quite tell you yet, but you'll hear more about them in our later updates. Please look forward to it.
Finally, I would like to answer a few more of your questions for next month's update. After that, we've invited Michiru-san to answer questions for a future update.
I'm also playing on the easy mode cause I'm a scrub. You're in for a treat. Also spend some time exploring. You'll find all sorts of secrets like areas that unlock classic Doom maps, collectables and upgrades.
That's not how it works at all though. Bad controls is bad controls whether or not your prefer the control scheme. I prefer Mouse and Keyboard to controllers for shooters, but I can still tell that Halo 5 and other console shooters control fine. Meanwhile, Star Fox Zero fails for a lot of people because it's control schemes are bad even if you enjoy motion controls. Games don't get a pass because they use niche/unpopular control schemes. If it controls bad, it controls bad, and it will sour the experience. Thanks for the link to the interview, like I said about some sites having biases about stuff, I know Game Informer does.
And I'm glad you do admit that, I just find it annoying that people say something is bad when it plays the way it was intended to be played, and that person just can't admit the game isn't for them.
Just one problem, Starfox Zero had motion controls, which is actually a very touchy subject for some people. Remember Skyward Sword? And how people said the game was bad cause it has motion controls.
Seems to me that some people just can't admit they don't like motion controls, and would just rather say a game is bad instead of saying, well this isn't for me.
Really one of the biggest problems I've seen with Game criticism these days, is more people wanting to be the next AVGN instead of just giving proper constructive criticism that developers can use for the next game
Makes me really wish more people would take after SomecalllmeJohny and admit when their biases are influencing their reviews. And yes I admit that people explaining how the controls not being to their like is good criticism, but most so called criticism for Starfox Zero from what I saw was, it sucks cause the control scheme doesn't carter to my personal tastes, so the game is therefore bad, and little else explaining how other stuff in the game can be improved upon.
Really seemed most Starfox Zero reviews just ended up beating the deadhorse of the control scheme criticism...
doesnt help that all I saw was "Woman sued mcDs for spilling coffe on herself" And also the fact it took getting sued to make them do what everyone else doesNah, I didn't miss it. My point still stands since judgment was still passed despite ignorance of the full story.
People are too quick to pass judgment.
Right. It's for making precise shots, which isn't helpful when you need to steer away from crashing.
They did put a warning but the jury found that the warning was neither large enough nor sufficient. You must of missed where they told me that they didnt put "caution: hot" on the cups and I said "ah ok" because
Now I put the blame on Mcdonolds for not putting something that should of been on the cup. ont he cup and for making the coffee so hot.
awha... I have many questions but I feel its best to keep them to myselfThey did put a warning but the jury found that the warning was neither large enough nor sufficient.
EDIT: Most people I know think the woman was an idiot for holding the coffee between her knees.
Exactly.I think the main important problem was the fact McDonald's shouldn't have had coffee that hot in the first place
Regardless of the actions the woman with the coffee took
Then changes still need to be made.Exactly.
Spilled coffee shouldn't be causing third degree burns.
in the end, everyone in that case was at fault. McDs for having the coffee way too hot and the woman for putting it between her legs.I think the main important problem was the fact McDonald's shouldn't have had coffee that hot in the first place
Regardless of the actions the woman with the coffee took
why does everyone on GTS want Porygon-Z for everything?Anyone got a Petlil? ****ing GTS only wants Porygon-Z.
...Are you that determined to blame the victim?aka, everyone in that case was at fault. McDs for having the coffee way too hot and the woman for putting it between her legs.
It's painful enough tyring to get Pokemon that evolve via trading with an item. So one that requires two trades with an item is even worse.why does everyone on GTS want Porygon-Z for everything?
I got one but its nicknames
Its a troll request because it's the most expensive (In-Game) trade.why does everyone on GTS want Porygon-Z for everything?
No, Im saying no one is innocent in that case. They both made bad decisions. No one should put coffee between their legs and surely no one should make coffee so hot that it burns to that degree. Nowhere am I putting all the blame on the woman...Are you that determined to blame the victim?
Liebe was found partially responsible for her injuries by the jury. Though of course she wasn't the major party at fault. Really if she wanted a coffee that bad, she could have gone inside and had one instead of trying to have it between her legs in a car with no cup holders....Are you that determined to blame the victim?
This thread in a nutshell, right here.Hold on, this McD case is from 1994.
I knew about that years ago.I learned about the truth about the McD's hot coffee lady from a show (that I'm starting to love) called "Adam Ruins Everything"
What a messed up story.
It's true that if something is being complained alot about, it should be the first thing that should be looked into when playing the game. But I would also like to point that Bandwagoning and "People hear what they want to hear" is a real and common thing. Especially if the ones starting the bandwagon are popular. If something is being complained about, it is important to look into it to be sure of things and such, but there is a big reason why "Playing the game" is a much different experience compared to "Listening, watching and hearing about the game" and why, "The only reviewer you can trust is yourself" exists.I'm aware of all of this, but to present I'm afraid my statement stands.
I will admit I haven't played the game myself, so I won't offer my opinion on the game itself, as honestly it hasn't been formed. However, the game can't get a free pass for choosing motion controls because "some people don't like them," admitted or not - if that is the largest complaint with the game, and it is a common and frequent complaint with the game, then it must be examined. User experience is paramount.
You keep using this word, "think."
I'm certain no thinking was involved.
Huh.I learned about the truth about the McD's hot coffee lady from a show (that I'm starting to love) called "Adam Ruins Everything"
What a messed up story.
65% of the members in this thread was born before that trial.Hold on, this McD case is from 1994. lol why we talking about this 22 year old case
Am I think only one that saw "1994" and thought, "Oh, this case is over 10 years old"Hold on, this McD case is from 1994. lol why we talking about this 22 year old case
Did you actually calculate that or was it just a guess?65% of the members in this thread was born before that trial.
Those five episodes were already leaked by CN itself, so you can just look for them online, though I recommend KissCartoon for thatAnyone else waiting for a show they like to come back from either hiatus or for it's next season?
I've got a few, but the one I'm waiting for right now is Steven Universe.
I hadn't been watching the show in time to see any of the Steven Bombs (basically several new episodes of the show premiering within the span of a few consecutive days, often making up an arc) until now; Steven Bomb 5 is coming up later this month, so I'm pretty excited for that (wish I didn't have to wait that long, though...).
I heard about the leaks, but I honestly just don't feel right watching leaked episodes of any show, so I guess I'm mostly willing to wait for them to air. Those five episodes were already leaked by CN itself, so you can just look for them online, though I recommend KissCartoon for that
It's surprising KissCartoon has been down. I don't visit there, but I know a partner page, KissAnime, is still running smoothly in general. If KissAnime is running, I would certainly hope that KissCartoon is also ok by now. I mean, since one part of the site is fine, I would imagine the other part is too, but idk.I heard about the leaks, but I honestly just don't feel right watching leaked episodes of any show, so I guess I'm mostly willing to wait for them to air.
I did see the first episode though, which was, for some reason, available On Demand. I can safely say I'm hyped for what's to come after seeing it.
Also, I think KissCartoon been down for several weeks now.
Hmm, doing a quick check, it's seems it's up and running now. It's surprising KissCartoon has been down. I don't visit there, but I know a partner page, KissAnime, is still running smoothly in general. If KissAnime is running, I would certainly hope that KissCartoon is also ok by now.
well I was born in 1994 and im 22 now soDid you actually calculate that or was it just a guess?
