Constitutional crisis.
Intentionally ****ing with the law
Elaborate casinos of JUST bingo

I'm not sure whether to laugh at america, alabama, bingo, ho Law works, or all of the above. All I know is im laughing.

For some reason I'm strongly reminded of pachinko in Japan. Dragging down video game companies and associations with the mob, all for a single game circumventing a gambling ban that I swear I've played versions of on websites meant for children.

Here's a Pokémon-based poll I was thinking some time ago:

If you had the opportunity to have a starting team of 3 Pokémon which would consists of:
- a regular starter
- an eeveelution
- either Pikachu, Togepi, Riolu or Zorua as the complementary Pokémon

What your starter trio would consist of ?

Mine would be:
- Froakie or Rowlet
- Espeon
- Togepi
Rowlett. Eevee (Everstone). Pikachu.

The coffee thing wasn't actually funny at all, she had to get grafts.

I mean, it was partially her fault, but McDonalds was also keeping the coffee at a far higher temperature than other restaurants on purpose because they were cheap.

She was suing for her several thousand dollar medical bills, but she ended up getting awarded more because McDonalds just kept insisting on giving her gift cards instead and eventually her lawyers decided to try asking for like a day's profit or something. Which ended up getting talked WAAAAAYYYY down from there because obviously McDonalds makes way too much money in a day to actually award to anyone.
im sorry, but she should of knew the coffee was hot. It says on the cups

At least I think it does. If it doesnt, they need to put that on the cups

Sigh.

It does now, because after the suit, they started putting that on the cups.

poodle microwave story
Parden me? Did you just say that?
nononono. It DIDN'T say it on the cups UNTIL she sued them
ooooh ok now this brings up this question, why didnt they have it on the cups before? Did they have to get sued in order to see they need that. But I still say she should of know it was hot. I mean, would the cup be a bit warm?

I'm. . .pretty sure I found the source for what I was thinking of.

http://www.gameinformer.com/b/news/...oto-names-his-most-underrated-wii-u-game.aspx

It wasn't as bad as I put it since my memory skewed it a bit, but the logic still isn't the most helpful.

Basically the quote implies he's blaming it on the audience having expectations instead of the fact that it just might not have synced with people. Deflecting the source of the problem isn't really helpful in terms of figuring out how to make future games better.

And I absolutely believe that the problem with Starfox is mine rather than the game's. I'm just trash with motion controls and I always have been. I'm surprised I actually left the motion controls on with Splatoon when I checked, although even there I'm using the stick at the exact same time.
Thanks for the link to the interview, like I said about some sites having biases about stuff, I know Game Informer does.

And I'm glad you do admit that, I just find it annoying that people say something is bad when it plays the way it was intended to be played, and that person just can't admit the game isn't for them.

And the blame for the game getting dumped on so hard can almost squarely be laid at the controls' feet. Everything else seems to suggest an average-to-good game, but the controls made it a chore to play.
Just one problem, Starfox Zero had motion controls, which is actually a very touchy subject for some people. Remember Skyward Sword? And how people said the game was bad cause it has motion controls.

Seems to me that some people just can't admit they don't like motion controls, and would just rather say a game is bad instead of saying, well this isn't for me.

Really one of the biggest problems I've seen with Game criticism these days, is more people wanting to be the next AVGN instead of just giving proper constructive criticism that developers can use for the next game

Makes me really wish more people would take after SomecalllmeJohny and admit when their biases are influencing their reviews. And yes I admit that people explaining how the controls not being to their like is good criticism, but most so called criticism for Starfox Zero from what I saw was, it sucks cause the control scheme doesn't carter to my personal tastes, so the game is therefore bad, and little else explaining how other stuff in the game can be improved upon.

Really seemed most Starfox Zero reviews just ended up beating the deadhorse of the control scheme criticism...

I got the set from Smogon's Kommo-O discussion.

I'm using it as base, and seeing what I can tweak and what needs a buff or not. Speed is likely because Kingdra is pretty relevant due to rain spam.
Thanks, it does give a good idea where to start with the set, so I'll probably tinker around with it as well to see what works and what doesn't. I'm also making one for doubles as well, so I may have to change around a few other points with that in mind as well.

Watched a rumor video claiming Pokémon Stars will contain 20 new Pokémon & 10 more Alolan Forms as well as some amiibo to go with it.

I don't buy it, especially when I haven't heard anything from trusted leakers about Stars since Stars was "announced" and I doubt Game Freak will include more non-form Pokémon in a mid-generation game.

Probably click bait
Laura actually did say something about that as Bulbapedia talked about it a bit in their Rumors thread, but here's what she wrote on the matter:

So I talked to Tom Phillips a lot before he ran his Stars story, as I was also working on the same leak, via different sources. He had a few bits of info I did not so I stepped back and let him handle it.

He was unsure about names Stars and Eclipse, I had only heard Stars.

I have heard 20+ new monsters being saved for Stars. Tom doesn't think that's likely. I honestly do not know if folk would be happy with that or not.
Depending on how 'new monsters' is being defined, it could mean forms as GF does refer to forms as 'new Pokemon' in some promotions such as the Kyurem forms and Mega Mewtwo Y, but we'll see. I don't know where they're getting the '10 more Alolan forms' bit from though.

Victor does call Yuri a "piggy" sometimes, though I'm sure it's not ill-intentioned.
And him demanding Yuri to lose weight is justified because I'm pretty sure you shouldn't be very fat if you're going to be an athlete, especially in something like ice skating
You could tell Victor did not mean any ill-intent for sure. Considering he stoped calling him that after a while. And being fat while ice skating could probably be a death sentence. You need strength in your legs and if you dont have that because you are overweight, its over

Speaking of Doom I'm getting an Xbox One and hopefully Doom and Skyrim RE for it and my friend is getting the Master Chief Collection tomorrow. :)
Looking for a trade partner to evolve my Haunter into Gengar. I'll help evolve one of yours as well.

What kind of moron would think that would be a good idea? No really, I'm just shocked by how some people in this world think.

I'm aware of all of this, but to present I'm afraid my statement stands.

I will admit I haven't played the game myself, so I won't offer my opinion on the game itself, as honestly it hasn't been formed. However, the game can't get a free pass for choosing motion controls because "some people don't like them," admitted or not - if that is the largest complaint with the game, and it is a common and frequent complaint with the game, then it must be examined. User experience is paramount.

You keep using this word, "think."

I'm certain no thinking was involved.

Not just motion control, but having to look at the TV screen and gamepad simultaneously at times. The game doesn't tell you hitting the - button flips the screens so it doesn't count as an argument

Maybe people should look at the whole story before passing judgment? That sounds good.

If attention had to be focused on both screens, that may be a valid argument. If one only needed to be referenced tangentially, that's less an issue. The map in Splatoon is a good example of the latter - critical to understand game state, but not critical to keep an eye trained on at all times.

I presume you're talking about the first-person-esque shooting segments. Again, without a copy or more details, not sure which of the above situations is more true.

Everyone on the earth is stupid. We all need a good slapping
Problem with that.

Some people would enjoy it.

Yup. THOSE segments. Playing via the gamepad is always with first person iirc

You must of missed where they told me that they didnt put "caution: hot" on the cups and I said "ah ok" because
Now I put the blame on Mcdonolds for not putting something that should of been on the cup. ont he cup and for making the coffee so hot.
