Classic Mages(they all fill the classic mage types each wielding a specific element, Blood Mage is like a mage version of Final Fantasy's Dark Knight. Sage is the same as Tellah from FF4; it learns a decent chunk of the elements it has control over but not a lot nor with a high enough mp pool or magic stat to really be useful later on):
Druid: Pistols and Dark Magic
Blood Mage: Knives and Blood Magic
Cleric: Staves and Healing Magic
Bishop: Hammers and Light Magic
Pyromancer: Bows and Fire Magic
Water Dancer: Whips and Water Magic
Arcanist: Boomerangs and Poison Magic
Sage: Sceptres and Planet Magic(Fire, Water, Wind, Earth)
Spiritmaster: Flails and Wind Magic
Knight types:
Centurion: Scythes and Earth Magic(undead knight weak to light and fire spells but destroys most grounded enemies with earth magic)
Knight: Lances and Shields(ability to protect team mates, passive ability protects low health heroes)
Fighter: Axes(The basic knight type, no real weaknesses and the most useful throughout the game)
Slayer: Giant Swords(high risk attacker, low health and low defence but god like attack stat)
Bladesmith: Longswords(multiple abilities that let the classes attacks pass through stat buffs, and even natural defenses)
Hero: Swords and Ice Magic(Decent attack but more adept at freezing foes to deal extra damage)
Master: Katanas and Time Magic(control over time lets it slow enemies, speed up foes, stop foes entirely or even rewind time)
Other classes:
Space Ace: Blasters and Space Magic(gun slinger that mastered the powers of outerspace, gun deals magic based attacks)
Goldmancer: Clubs and Goldmancy(mastered the ability to goldmance, turning golden icons into devastating attacks)
Mind Fighter: Fists and Energy Magic(fights with fists and became zen, unlocking energy based moves)
Thief: Bow(master trapper/thief, can deal damage to weak points depending on body type)
Valkyrie: Spears and Lightning Magic(spear user, can jump into air and come crashing down like lightning)
Yes there are many party members but you can swap them out at anytime, even during battle for no repercussion, certain ares like major dungeons whomever you enter with is who you are stuck with until you leave though.
This looks pretty cool and diversified. My only problem is that the Druid use technology and Dark magic while they are usually the super-hippies of fantasy setting, using the power of nature and rejecting most form of modern technology and civilizations. Aside from that great. I particularly like the Master and the Arcanist.
Heey guys, remember that time Nintendo and Square Enix partnered together to make a Mario Basketball game with crossover appearances from Final Fantasy characters? Or is that just me?

Sounds like a good one. I'd need to find a new one after evolving Slowking though.
One last question, I found that throwing a Dark plate still boosts the move's power by 20% but does that mean it does 108 base damage or do the damage calculations work differently from that?
I'm not sure how many of you know of him or if this was mentioned already, but George S. Irving, an actor, died recently as well. Just yesterday, actually. I knew him best as Heat Miser from The Year Without a Santa Claus.
I'm not going to curse or hate the year itself, but I kind of just want it to be 2017 already before someone else dies this year...

Oh and the Mind Fighter class is basically pulled from dbz. All of its energy moves charge so no matter what when you cast them they won't be used until atleast the next turn with the option to charge it for 3 more turns before it's maxed out
Soul Silver update
Diane the Dragonair evolved into Dragonite, she is now an unstoppable killing machine because good god I forgot how broken Dragons were
Draco Meteor one-shots everything and Flamethrower kills Steel types
Grinding up with the Gym Leaders, Choice Scarf Honchkrow is proving to be a lot faster than expected
I've seen it also being combined with a Fake Out
Fake Out->King's Rock!Fling is two guaranteed flinches and that is usually enough to KO the Pokemon from whatever HP it has left

I like the 'Other' classes
Though I'm worried about the number of classes, balancing around that is kinda hard and I don't see the point of all these Mage classes.
RPGs usually don't have many Mage classes and they can usually wield all elements, a mage is a mage: it deals magical damage and that's it, there's not much point to all these different elements unless this has some complicated Elemental Rock-Paper-Scissors like Pokemon.
And that's usually because bosses have weaknesses and resistances to certain elements, the catch is to find out the correct, not to use the correct character(especially as one can easily become useless if the boss is immune to all of its spells, creating an unfair punishment for not having information prior to the fight).
Also, you should try to think of roles for each class because most of these look like offensive classes.
Knight, Cleric and Thief(and even that seems to be deviating from its usual RPG role) seem to be the only non-offensive classes: Knight is the only tank, Cleric is the only healer and Thief is the only support(assuming it still has its utility functions)
Like, there's no bard-like class, no one to debuff enemies, little variety for the 3 roles I mentioned, etc etc.
Sorry if I sound too harsh but I'm someone who likes RPGs and over-analyzing too much.
Or you can go the Chrono Trogger route and make everyone go mixed: by having all the characters get support, physical and magic skills
EDIT: omg why is this post so big, how did this happen, I was supposed to talk just about the separation of the mage classes why is this happening?
Well everyone; I am back from seeing Rogue One. VIews on the movie below (contains spoilers).
Gotta say, the movie was great! What shocked me most about it was near the end; all of the main characters were basically killed off in one way or another, especially with the shock wave that swept away Jyn and Cassian. I don't often see movies do that, but when I understood that the only important item that needed to be kept safe was the plans of the Death Star, I knew sacrifices had to be made. As for the CGI revivals of Tarkin and Leia, I was not really bothered by that; when you do a revival from elements in a galaxy far far away, that's going to happen.

There is a Rock Paper Scissors thing for the magic, also there are supports, water is a mix of attack, heal and support spells, wind is support and attack, space is support and attack, light is heal and attack, earth is support and attack, time is heal and support.
Dark and Fire are the only elements that are purely offensive, the hero class is also the magical tank class. I just cut and paste that from my notes so I didn't notice that I didn't have like half the details in the post.
I'm glad you asked! So the multicart is an R4 Card with the programs loaded on it. I think this because it has a micro SD card sticking out of it and it says it on the boot up menu. It has 110 games on it but they are not all Ds. Since DS games are suprisingly small 62 of them could fit on an 16 GB micro SD, the rest are GB/GBC games which are on an emulator. So I think the DS games are just files on the card and The OS boots it up.
