I heard the news about Carrie Fisher's passing; it was very shocking to hear about, honestly. I had thought that she would recover in the hospital after being in stable condition, but it seems like this did not happen, and my condolences go out to her family and friends.

I was going to go see Rogue One today as well before I heard about this. However, I will still go in her honor and the legacy she left behind despite admittedly not having watched much Star Wars myself.

It doesn't really need to make sense. Look at B2W2 for example. In BW, Pokémon native only to Unova were present, but in B2W2, in a span of two years, a load of new Pokémon from other regions were added, despite the fact Unova is very far away from other regions- hence why BW had an exclusive Pokédex in the first place.

Not trying to justify this rumor though, because while possibly, its still a hell of a long shot, but it *could* happen.

I think it's definitely unbelievable.

Overwatch is one of the most successful new IPs in recent years with how many fans it has and how big its esports presence is. Blizzard also takes fan feedback very seriously with Overwatch. To make a character exclusive to the Switch, which wasn't even one of the platforms Overwatch debuted on, would be an uncharacteristic slap in the face.

Overwatch on Switch would sell just because it's Overwatch. The most I can see it getting, exclusivity-wise, is maybe some purely cosmetic things like a costume or two. DK tie Winston or something.

I can see Nintendo exclusive costumes coming to a Switch port of Overwatch. Something like Tracer dressing as Mario.

But not an exclusive character.

I think we could get new Alolan forms in the next game, we got new Megas in Hoenn despite Sycamore saying 'why is Mega Evolution exclusive to Kalos?" and we've gotten new forms between games in a generation before even going as far back as Deoxys. So I think other Pokémon adapting and then being discovered for the next game is a definite possibility, especially since it seems other new forms are already in the cards via things like Lycanroc's third form being discovered in the data.

New Pokémon I'm more skeptical about since by design, GF seems to prefer to leave them for the start of a new Generation. It doesn't mean it can't happen in the future, but it's something that doesn't have as much precedent as with new forms.
