Welp. If this is true...
R.I.P Miiverse.
Honestly not surprised. The idea was good in theory and poor in execution. Hopefully a more streamlined Internet and interactivity option is present.

I didn't realize Sheer Force allowed Life Orb without recoil until recently'

I also didn't realize how good Magic Guard was until recently. I seriously need to consider using Reuniclus more. He is one of my favorite pokemon after all

I dumped my starter in gen 5

I'm not saying the game doesn't offer other pokemon that are better

Gen 3 had the best starters. Blaziken >>> Sceptile >> Swampert. All of them are great though.

But Gen 1: Charizard = Blastoise > Venasaur. I like all of them, but Grass types are usually lamer in comparison. Mega Zard X is strong as ****, and I like it.

Gen 2: Totodile > Cyndaquil >>> Chikorita. I wish Cyndaquil's line was stronger.

Gen 4: Infernape >> Empoleon >> Torterra. Again, mostly great.

Gen 5: Emboar > Serp > Samurott. Okay, like the designs, but they need better moves.

Gen 6: Greninja >>>> Delphox > Chesnaught. Okay, mostly for the typing.

Gen 7: Litten > Rowlet > Popplio. Pretty good overall.

You know how you often mentally assign a voice to a character only to have it cruelly broken when you actually hear them?

That's how I'm feeling now.

Gens 1,3 and 4 I liked all the starters, but I didn't actually like Sceptile that much until Mega Sceptile. Their mega forms gave them lots personality

Gen 5 I didn't like any of them

Gen 2 I liked Typhlosion and Feraligatr, in that order

Gen 6 I liked Greninja, and to a lesser extent Chesnaught

Gen 7 I really only like Decidueye

Pretty sure that's it, in BW
And I loved the coverage of mixed set Megahorn/Retaliate/Surf/Blizzard
I liked using Jellicent because of its typing and ability. Shadow Ball and Scald was a great pair with Recover and Sludge Bomb.

In B2W2, I always replaced my starter with Riolu, so I don't really an opinion there.

Y'know if this guy has knowledge about Smash Switch stages I don't see why he wouldn't know about which characters are in the game.

Is there a pokemon that in starts like as a physical attacker as an example then becomes a special attacker upon evolution?

If not this would be a first in my game.

The Miiverse stage had some nice fan art and not much else going for it aside from being tourney legal (as far as I know). Some users even went far enough to post messages completely unrelated to the characters, like last year's Star Wars VII spoilers.

The only one I can remember on top of my head is Slowpoke.

Most posts on the Miiverse stage were mostly along the lines of "(insert **** joke) and "Bush did 9/11" so i'm fine with the stage getting the ace.

Sinnoh: Torterra > Infernape > Empoleon

Liam Robertson mentioned no miiverse stage in smash switch
Was that the guy that said Smash Switch would be a "director's cut" of Smash 4 with content from both 3DS and Wii U plus two characters, or was that the guy that said Cloud and Bayonetta amiibo were being held off until Smash Switch's release, or neither?

Welp. If this is true...
R.I.P Miiverse.
This would make me upset.

That's my favorite stage for how bad, but funny the posts are.

That's what made Miiverse great. If they get rid of it, I hope we get an alternative that is just as entertaining.

Favorite starters per region? Here's mine:

Kanto: Venasaur = Charizard = Blastoise (Not a fan of any of the Kanto starters)
Johto: Feraligatr = Typhlosion > Meganium (Not too much of a fan of the Johto starters)
Hoenn: Swampert >>> Blaziken > Sceptile
Sinnoh: Empoleon > Infernape = Torterra (I like all of them for the most part)
Unova: Samurott > Serperior >>>>>>> Emboar
Kalos: Greninja >>>>>>> Chesnaught > Delphox
Alola: Primarina > Decidueye >> Incineroar

Actually, it makes a lot of sense considering it's connected with the Wii U's miiverse community. Perhaps the switch won't gave miiverse.

Honestly, good riddance if this is true in the end; I never really saw a point in that stage and Miiverse itself is very toxic from my experience/perspectives. I would favor an alternative replacement myself that can expand upon the concept without being a land full of toxicity and horrible memes.

The pokemon in question is Pummelgranate(Fighting/Grass) that has better attack than special attack. It's basically a pomegranate with arms. It evolves into Pomereign(Fighting/Diamond) and then Empranate(Fighting/Diamond) both which get the Steenee/Tsareena treatment upon evolution and the special attack surpasses the attack stat by a lot. :p

I hope miiverse will stay. There was some masterpieces on this stage. I personally call it the "Meme-o-sphere".

It's probably just the stage itself being removed. I get that plans change, but didn't Nintendo mention that Miiverse would be featured in future systems about four years ago?

Should Miiverse be replaced, I'm sure there will be a new service using Nintendo Accounts that functions more like it.

I just want a Phendrana Drifts stage....

There's a few other stages I'd like but that's literally all I need and I'll be satisfied for stages...

Been playing around with offensive Vaporeon again in the Battle Tree.

Undyneon(Vaporeon)@Normalium-Z
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 HP/252 SpA/4 Spe
Modest Nature
Scald/Shadow Ball/Ice Beam/Refresh

I'm actually having some good success with this. Z-Refresh fully restores Vaporeon, which combined with its HP makes it difficult to kill. The other three moves deal damage with good coverage. I like to put this on my Ice team to support Snowslash and Snowtales by tanking Fire and Steel.
