At this point, all you can really expect from me is just showcases of art and graphic design works as well as some technology and a lot of Nintendo discussion.
Oh wait, that's what I always did. Anyways, I'd like to talk about the following.
I found out while browsing an old GBAtemp thread (which was meant for USB Loader GX discussion) that the font used for the Wii logo (and by extension, "Wii" on Wii U as well. I don't know about the "U," though) is called
Horatio. Then I tried it out to see if it really was
the font, and it ended up being the case.
Looks like...
*puts on sunglasses*
... you don't need to use that one font, Continuum, anymore.
YEEEEAAAAAAAAHH!!!
Outdated joke aside, it's just like the Nintendo DS and Nintendo 3DS logos. All you need to do is to horizontally extend the characters. However, the only thing I really had to extend was the "W," as the "ii" could just be resized and look fine. I had some trouble adjusting the latter characters and it took about an hour to realize that. I may look into the "U" from Wii U next, even though I already know that's just a proprietary logotype.
