No word on Switch stuff huh?

Well that's a tad disappointing.
To be fair it could be fake and Xbone isn't getting much since its getting FF7 remake once PS4 timed exclusive expires and I could see some of these being multiplatform like FF13 Collection and the whole FF Collection

Question. Marvel has to split the money they make from sales off of any X-Men or Fantastic 4 merchandise, right? What if characters like Wolverine were to be free DLC? Would that mean they could get away with not paying Fox anything due to not making any money off the content, or do they have to pay them simply for using the character, and if so how much would they have to pay them?
They'd have to pay for the rights to use the characters, don't know the pricing, but having them be DLC makes it a lot cheaper than the base game if I understand the situation correctly

We got leak bros :4cloud2:

http://vgleaks.com/final-fantasy-30th-anniversary-roadmap/

2017 will be the 30th anniversary for Final Fantasy and Square Enix will celebrate the milestone with the following items:

Final Fantasy releases in 2017 to celebrate the anniversary: Square will launch Final Fantasy VII Remake (first episode) and Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age as main games to celebrate the Final Fantasy’s birthday.

Final Fantasy XIII trilogy is coming to PS4 during the next year. The bundle will include Final Fantasy XIII, XIII-2 and Lightning Returns on separate discs to be enjoined in 1080p and 60fps.

Final Fantasy 30th Anniversary Collection. This compilation will include Final Fantasy I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII and IX and it will be released on PS4 and PS Vita in a single disc/card. It will include two versions of Final Fantasy I to VI: original versions from NES/SNES and modern ports (mostly mobile ports). FF VII to IX will be based only in newest ports. Final Fantasy II and III from NES will receive an official English translation (first time). Games will be based on Japanese versions, therefore we will be able to play parts that were cut out when games were released overseas. Graphical censorship included in some titles when they were released outside Japan will remain. The collection will have a built-in art gallery and a sound test menu to play songs from games included.

Final Fantasy I, Final Fantasy II, Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age, Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions and Chrono Trigger could be released on Steam before the end of 2017.

Final Fantasy VII Remake and Final Fantasy XV are coming to PC, but likely not until early-mid 2018.
If true I may get that 30th Anniversary Collection.

Seems like it would be a great starting point for someone new to the series such as myself.

*heavy breathing* I'll buy a PS4 if this is true. Also, the possible game on steam. *hyper ventilates*

Assuming these leaks are true, which if they are, holy ****, I really don't understand why Square Enix doesn't release any of their remasters to Xbox One. Aside from the MMOs, anything new comes to both consoles, yet anything remastered is just Playstation. Thank god I own everything, feel bad for any FF/KH fans who hopped onto Xbox.

I'm guessing MMX's move in the trailer is supposed to be Shotgun Ice. It doesn't have the liquid look of Crystal Hunter. Though they'd probably do similar things anyhow. Making it lob upwards is probably just a way to set it apart when you already have his buster. But trapping moves don't last too long in Marvel games.
At first, I thought that was something pretty similar to one of Volnutt's move in Tatsunoko vs Capcom where he just shoots a small uncharged shot diagonally upwards. Now that I look at it closer, it does kind of look like it could be shotgun ice; which I think would actually be better for X in terms of it being a bit more unique AND it could be good for combos and trapping.

Oh dear God... PLEASE LET THIS BE TRUE!!!!

I don't care how much all of this will cost, this would be a PERFECT opportunity to get into a new franchise. Gimmie all of that good stuff please Square?

If that 30th anniversary collection turns out to be real, I might consider getting it even though I already have IV on PSP, VI on Wii VC, and VII-IX on PS1.

At this point, all you can really expect from me is just showcases of art and graphic design works as well as some technology and a lot of Nintendo discussion.

Oh wait, that's what I always did. Anyways, I'd like to talk about the following.

I found out while browsing an old GBAtemp thread (which was meant for USB Loader GX discussion) that the font used for the Wii logo (and by extension, "Wii" on Wii U as well. I don't know about the "U," though) is called Horatio. Then I tried it out to see if it really was the font, and it ended up being the case.

Looks like...

*puts on sunglasses*

... you don't need to use that one font, Continuum, anymore.

YEEEEAAAAAAAAHH!!!

Outdated joke aside, it's just like the Nintendo DS and Nintendo 3DS logos. All you need to do is to horizontally extend the characters. However, the only thing I really had to extend was the "W," as the "ii" could just be resized and look fine. I had some trouble adjusting the latter characters and it took about an hour to realize that. I may look into the "U" from Wii U next, even though I already know that's just a proprietary logotype.

My biggest issue with this rumor is that it seems like too much actually. There's the FFXII remaster, FFVII Remake, FF1-IX collection, AND FFXIII remaster? There's also the stuff on Steam, but that doesn't seem like a major issue. Just seems like a Final Fantasy Overload for consumers.

Nonetheless, I'm hopping on that **** brah.

I do find it a bit odd that a Vita version of the collection is part of the rumor even though the PS1 versions of FFI+II and V-IX along with the PSP versions of III and IV are already playable on the system, albeit digitally. If this rumor is true, then I'm sure there will be Vita owners who feel ripped off from buying these games individually and finding out that they could've waited and bought the collection.

Can Square even use the exact same version of a game that was released in another company's console to re-release? This is something I'm actually really curious about as I don't know about it but, like, can they use the NES/SNES versions of the FF and "emulate" those two consoles so they can work in a Legacy collection without Nintendo's permission? Granted, they have the PS1 version for things like FFVI which is a straight up port but what about something like FFI where the game would have to be the NES version?

Rare Replay has games that were previously Nintendo exclusive iirc

If this was the more modernized version (of FF 2), I would buy that in a second. The original had flaws, but I loved the remake

So, apparently "The Cheesecake Factory" is opening up near me. I thought they only had cheesecake, hence the name

But looking it up online, it says they have other stuff like pizza.

However, the item I'm most interested in is the fact they have fried catfish

Want to go there just to see if they have it

Namco uploaded a trailer for Soul Calibur's 20th anniversary.

On top of that, there's a new website... that's not working at the moment.

Maybe they're trying to tell us something. Maybe not. Guess we'll have to wait and see.
It's working now.

Looks like the link is a way to show all the games in the series ranging from the main titles, to spin offs, to the pachinko game.

I don't see much else though. Oh it celebrates the opening of the new Project Soul website and gives today as the date.

I guess there's this text.

But I have no way of reading it.

You scan up to 10 codes a day, and after 10 you can scan the current item you are on to get a special pokemon that isn't on the alolan dex. The pokemon you scan are added as "seen" in your pokedex. There are QR codes for Shiny and sex differences for each pokemon. Although legendaries don't have QR codes.

You can also scan random QR codes you see anywhere else to get another pokemon, such as bulbasaur. Although it isn't added to the alolan dex and only serves to add points toward your daily scan total
Thanks mate! I gotta get on this ASAP.

I typed it into Google Translate, and got this eloquent poem.

"Chosen as history
Engraved in history
A person becomes a warrior
The warrior becomes a hero

The story of the sword and soul that transcends history and the world is told forever.
"

This sounds like the premise to a game.

On the whole "UBs destroyed the pre-Gen 6 universe", it showed up in TV Tropes's Headscratcher page, and someone replied it by saying it was a headcanon that got out of control(with the post it probably came from), with the only evidence to that theory being the "defended a tower" line from Looker, as Opossum had guessed
Good thing this is solved because it was all over the SM WMG page and even showed up in the Tearjerker one iirc
And people complain about people editing The Other Wiki without sources :p

I think I'll might get Moon at some point.
The reason is that while I do want to replay the game in the future, I don't want to remove my current Sun save file. I've done so much in this game and I don't want it gone.
And no, Pokebank isn't a good solution for that problem, because the Pokemon I have in the game aren't the only things that I want to immortalize.

Getting Eevee with Wish has got to be more difficult then it ever has been before.

So in order to get Eevee with Wish in Sun and Moon prebank, you require catching Togakiss via Island Scan, which can only be found on Tuesday. Once caught, you'll need to breed it with Ditto. Evolve the baby Togepi into Togetic and teach it Wish. Then have Sneargle Sketch the move Wish. Finally, breed Smeargle with Wish with the baby Eevee.

Good lord.

How can you even Sketch your own moves in the postgame? Is there anywhere where you can consistently do Double Battle to allow such thing or are you limited to the ones the game gives you?

The more I play of SM's post game, the more I think Stars will be a sequel rather than a 3rd version.

And unlike XY with 'Z', they definitely seem to be setting something up here.

I guess I'll stick to Showdown if I want to use Umbreon competitively then because that just sounds incredibly tedious.

In order to Sketch your own moves, go to Route 2 and find a Smeargle. Then, with your Pokémon with the desired move up front, use said move. The wild Smeargle will Sketch it. Now, switch your Pokémon to your own Smeargle and Sketch the wild Smeargle's Sketched Move.

Its basically Sketchception. Other artists stealing works of art from other artists who stole it first. Its a pretty shady operation, but I need my Wish Eevee.

I'm gonna mass produce Eevee with Wish, Stored Power, Yawn and Curse. These should be pretty valuable because of how god damn tedious they are to get. But that being said, everything is in order, so I'm going to go ahead and start Sketching.

What that FF 30th Leak would mean to me.
>FF2&3's originals finally get official english translation
>We're still not getting FF5's "Nintendo Handheld Remake" after an entire console generation after FFIVDS.
That's it.
