This game is gonna be ungodly massive.

Holy crap.
Loving this.

So much...

I tolerated the stamina meter but I couldn't stand the motion controls. Just give me the old-fashioned button to swing the sword and I am good to go... and it seems Zelda Wii U doesn't require motion controls for swinging swords... so it's a start.
The motion controls were actually something I rather liked. I thought it gave the game a neat new spin on combat. I will say I found them irritating at first, but I enjoyed improving my skill with it. I can defeat many enemies and boss with ease now.

That looks like a Twilight Portal in the sky.

What?
Well, it definitely looks similar....but from such a distance? It could very well be something else. Maybe it's just a floating island of some kind?

The piano "secret" theme is genius.

Big fan of the musical choices so far.

He was able to jump in Zelda II... hardly the first time.

Sprinting is back... so is the stamina meter... *sigh* They should have brought Pegasus Boots or Bunny Hood (Majora's Mask version) so we can run to our hearts' content.
First 3D Zelda game where he can manually jump.

I'll watch the Zelda footage once I get back home
The game is looking pretty good from that first trailer and I like how much you can interact with the enviroment: cutting trees, pushing rocks, CLIMBING, etc.
It really is giving Skyrim vibes with all the openess but it also feels a little like MGSV since you are free to solve puzzles and other situations however you like
I hope we can stick with just one weapon though because I'm loving that spear(Master Spear when?)

There seems to be so many options on how to approach this game.

You wanna go stealthy? There's options for that. You wanna go guns blazing? You can. You wanna play thief and steal enemies' weapons? Feel free to do so.

So it is Nintendo's Skyrim, huh?

They didn't pull anything back with this game's development. The Wii U is poised to go out with a bang.

Nah, Skyrim would imply it has no level design, has clunky combat, and is a buggy mess.

This really is Skyrim in Zelda form, at least in terms of what both games were trying to accomplish. The amount of things you can do in the first area is expansive, and I imagine that it's going to grow even more as soon as the full game opens up to us.

The music is also excellent, I love that battle theme.

What about the Rito

Because we all know birds would thrive more in a world of water than fish
I'm honestly hoping we get the Rito, they're one of my favorite races in Zelda and I was pretty disappointed when they (and the Koroks) didn't return for Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks.
