Giving it more thought, I have to say, that story is definitely FFXV's weakest part. it starts off fine, but man does it fall off later on. That's not to say what I did wasn't cool, but why I did it was just eh. It feels like they wanted to do a ton more and/or expected you to just accept it.

Particularly the part where they reveal Prompto is an MT. Which feels like it could lead to something interesting, but all they did with it was "Man, you may come from a different place, but we still cool"

That's not to say the characters themselves are bad/weak. Noctis and the gang are still very likeable, and I've been finding some people say that the antagonist of XV is one of the best in the series, the issue is that they were plopped into a weak narrative.

I guess that's what happens when your game goes through a development hell that involves complete rewrites of the story

Hopefully the DLC expands on what the main story missed.

So I got up to capturing the box legend last night.

Not gonna lie, I'm a little disappointed that the Ultra Space portion was so small. I was expecting some sort of a dungeon like the Distorted World (even if that one wasn't particularly long either).

Also I guess you could say Lusamine's fusion with Nihilego is like a twisted version of Ash-Greninja. While I don't mind the transformation I thought it was a bit pointless since you battle in her a regular Pokemon battle anyway... Which, btw, was not too bad. I think she gave me far more trouble back at the Aether Foundation. I think not having Nihilego in her team was a huge missed chance though.

Anyway, Ultra Beasts were kind of a troll. The pre release stuff kinda made Ultra Beasts to be a bigger deal than they were. Sure they're a big part of Lusamine goals, but that's where most of the focus ends up being, just Lusamine. Really makes me wish they had just shown off Nihilego and be done with it since it's the only one with any relevance (other than a random scene where UB-02 shows up). In any case, whatever the post game stuff is for them should be fun (which I'm guessing is the Looker quest, unless they just show up randomly in caves).

Now off the Pokemon League.

Which has me kinda stumped.

At first I thought the Champion was gonna be Hapu because she pretty much raised all the Champion red flags from previous games (seemingly important character shows up mid game and doesn't say what they exactly do) but she turned out to be the final Kahuna. But done in a way I didn't expect. So now I'm kinda wondering if the Champion is some other character I'm overlooking (I have my guesses) or a new one overall (like that Kahili character NPCs talk about).

As for the E4, I was thinking they'd all be new characters but now I'm thinking they could reuse some Kahunas and Captains for it, not really sure.

Ah well.

Strongest thing he got was Thunder Fang.

I guess him being mixed, with thunderbolt, wouldn't be too bad. 95 special isn't horrible.

Even now physical is HORRIBLE for electric types, as the strongest physical electric is 90 and it causes recoil damage (Not counting volt tackle which only the Pikachu lines learns)

Planting at Lv3 gives you 14 for each tree
And you have 18 total slots
You can get a lot of them really easily

Pretty sure Zing Zap is Togedemaru only, but it's not like that 7BP difference(considering STAB) from Thunder/Fire Punch hurts that much

I'm a bit late to this discussion, but I've noticed there was some talk about the fact the unobtainable Mega Stones in Sun and Moon are mostly from Pokemon that are catchable in Diamond/Pearl/Platinum.

Regarding the starters & legendary Mega Stones and the Mawhilite that aren't obtainable in Sun and Moon, I think it's possible the D/P could make those Pokemon obtainable in some way. Just look at OR/AS. You were able to obtain the starters from all the other regions minus Kanto and Kalos by defeating the Elite Four and then encountering Professor Birch again in Route 101. Perhaps in the D/P remakes, there will be ways you can obtain the starters from the other regions. Now, about the legendaries: OR/AS gave us plenty more legendaries to catch compared to the original games. Maybe the D/P remakes will do the same, expanding the catchable legendaries to include the later generations minus Alola.

As for the Mawhile? I'm sure there will be alternate way to catch it now that the GBA slot option is a thing of the past.

No but really, night is pretty good

Day has a better chance to attack first so that it doesn't need defenses that badly. It also has access to Rock!Quick Attack while night does not.
While Night's defenses aren't as ****ty, it's much slower, which means that if it fights a faster Pokemon with good attacking stats, these defenses won't mean ****.
I didn't say Midnight Lycanroc is bad (Although I do think that) but Midday is objectively better in battle.

It makes sense to not lock it to, as it's said there was 2 other Null made. So it would make enough sense that one could be shiny, like the Red genesect in BW.

I wonder though, where'd the 3rd one go. It be pretty cool if Lillie had taken it with her to Kanto instead of a traditional starter. Then she'd follow in her brother's footsteps.

I was really disappointed she didn't use Nihelago. She had an open slot for pete's sake. I also hoped they would have expanded it out a bit, and brought the UBS more into the story. The postgame story for them could have been integrated into the main one imo.

As for the Elite 4, I think you'll enjoy them. The champion is probably my favorite so far.

I'm getting spam phone number calls from Colorado, I answered the first couple of times they happened but I got no answer. One time they left a voicemail and it turns out they're a debt collector? I don't have a bank account nor a credit card of any sort, so obviously this seemed fishy to me.

Google searching the number led me to find out they're a scam and many people have been getting calls from them. I block the number, but now I keep getting calls from different numbers, all from Colorado.

I'm not sure what to do anymore.

Like this is getting to borderline harassment, and it's multiple calls a day.
