I think I found the problem with the way I'm chaining. I watched a video on it and it said something about a hundred/ hundreds of pokemon he's chaining to get a shiny

And my Poliwrath doesn't have anywhere near that much PP, not to mention the Geodude have Sturdy every once in a while so they take 2 hits

I think I'm going to have to get some more Poliwrath/ Golduck. Maybe a team of them

I beat them and was 10-12 levels lower.

Max out your team in refresh with petting and Heart treats. It gets pretty easy.

Or as I said shiny chain. By a chain of 400 I had gone up a few levels in my team. You could trying chaing outside the league by sweeping snorunts with a good fire type. Don't give up just yet!
