New Pokemon Generations episode thoughts

The animation was kinda weird but I'll take it.
This one was kind of a letdown honestly, I don't think what was shown was really interesting enough to be an episode...
Also Colress was pretty out of character, because he isn't supposed to be really evil.
It also seems that they're completely dropping the protagonists, that's kind of a shame.
I honestly think this might've been the worst episode yet, because it's just not interesting.
On a side note, it sucks that Pokemon Generations: Alola edition is probably not gonna happen.

Surprised that the episode was released now and not on Friday.

The episode itself was quite mediocre. It was cool to see Colress in the series but nothing particularly interesting happened.

I wonder what the last Unova episode will be about...

Pokemon Sun End-game Spoilers

The Elite Four
Sort of expected all of the Kahunas to be the Elite Four but it seems only Hala and Olivia took the task, where as Acelora(sp?) became yet another Ghost type Elite Four member, and this other chick becoming our first flying type Elite Four member...Her Toucannon did work I have to admit...

Kukui is the Champion? Or at least the post E4 battle since he's not officially titled as the Champion, but now it seems to make sense for Hau to have the weaker starter as Kukui had the remaining starter as his ace...Primarina did some serious work on my squad, after his Braviary was doing some annoying Stealth Rocks Whirwind shenanigans...

And then a long as **** end game cutscene leads to this...

Tapu Koko becomes your post-champion battle...interesting indeed wasn't too hard to deal with despite not really being all that prepared for it...I guess I can make an attempt that the other Guardian Deities

And Lillie is headed off to Kanto, eh? Hmm....Why do I feel like this could lead to something in a future game...(perhaps a proper sequel to Red and Blue in Kanto with Lillie being the Champion? that's just me thinking out loud though)

Anyways now it's off to the Post-game where Hau gave me Z-Crystals for the other starters and a creepy old man just randomly gives me an 'Enigmatic Card'...

Gon splits the planet once, Kirby cracks planets as part of a competition, and no planet was safe from Arale's destruction.

Anyways, it was another great episode with one of my favorite Gen 5 moments, wish we could have seen the Shadow Triad but there's still one Unova episode left so maybe they'll be there

Over all it was well animated, and Haxorus was amazing here. Also Drayden's beard. The freezing of Opelucid looked devastating here. There's no way it didn't cause casualties.

I give it a "LOL they couldn't get the social media interns to post it over Thanksgiving break"/10

Next week is guaranteed to be the N and Ghetsis episode, considering they're on the poster.

Powered Up is a great example of pushing cinnamon to it's upper limits of squee.

You can't take it too far, though. Tails is normally the epitome of cute and one heck of a cinnamon roll himself, being adorable in most things you put him in. But put him in this artstyle and it crosses the invisible line into rainbow puppy art cuteness territory where I get a bit desensitized.

Rockman works pretty great with it, though. Just perfect.

I never got all the hate for the remakes on PSP. They were great games especially Powered Up fixing all of MM1's glaring problems

Probably because some people couldn't accept change. There's also Powered Up's cutesy art style along with Maverick Hunter X's story retcons and minor differences in level design and item placement (ex: the dash upgrade being moved from Chill Penguin's stage to Flame Mammoth's). Plus both games were 2.5D instead of full-on 2D.

It's a shame neither game sold very well. I would have been hyped if more games in the classic and X series got the Powered Up/Maverick Hunter treatment.
