Yay!!! Another Kid Icarus game with motorcycles, some dark-haired guy that absolutely has no business in a KI game, and ***** voice acting/dialogue.

1. Kid Icarus started with credit cards. The series had anachronism and "things that don't fit" from the start. It's part of it's blood.

2. There's not even a motorcycle. That's a tank-kart.

3. Again, the series doesn't have much in the way of boundaries, so who's to say what does or doesn't have business in it? If it's because it's "edgy" or something, keep in mind the series started with fighting your way out of hell.

4. The voice acting and dialog was certainly better than any other Nintendo game I've played, and that includes. . .most of the currently used IPs with much voice acting.

I basically weighed the pros and cons of each, and said that I think LEGO Dimensions is the best one despite only getting started with it myself.

That happened for me years ago. Maybe it's part of the reason I'm not completely bothered by the Smash community, I couldn't tell it from the Pokemon and Sonic communities by the time I found it.

I mean more in the sense that I think the internet just breeds maliciousness and toxicity in people, to the point where it has become less and less enticing for me to even bother discussing stuff.

I still think the Smash community is one of the worst though.

You must presume the fanbase quite dense if you think we can't discern the differences between 64 and Galaxy. I'm not even giving my opinion here, I'm just quoting the leaker, and everyone knows what she means. Because obviously she's saying Mario Switch is a game that incorporates commonalities of 64 and Galaxy. She even said which commonalities they were.

Also, "everything we've seen" is what? Five, six seconds? You could easily take one instance of a level in SM64 that looked linear or one instance of a level in Galaxy that looked open-world. You're defining all these games from mere fleeting clips and putting the cart before the horse here, mate.

Yeah, just like we knew what the "dolphin" and "snowman" were. Note the Mario Switch leak has been removed from her website...

The leak only described the hub world being large. The levels are described to be like 64 and Galaxy. The part in specific is that there are multiple objectives, and this is described as being not linear in some way. Problem being that people hardly use the word right in the first place and could simply be referring to the fact that there are multiple missions.

The fact that the footage we've seen was totally linear I highly doubt was a coincidence. If it was truly a more open experience then they would of shown us something open, like with BotW. Similarly, a remotely open game being played by two players "tethered together"... Doesn't really work.

It's hardly putting the cart before the horse.
