Me: "Gumshoos is somewhat disappointing with only a good Atk stat despite its great abilities"
Smogon: *shows me this*
Me: "Holy **** pal"
But yeah, Gumshoos's only problem is its awful bulk but it has all the tools to use Stakeout effectivelly:
-Yawn makes your opponent choose between disabling a Pokemon for 1-3 turns or switching out and eating a 2x STAB Return
-Pursuit can also be useful if the opponent has a Ghost Pokemon, making it so that you damage the switching out Pokemon instead of a would-be-immune-to-Return Mon
-Payback doubles power on switches(because it counts as acting) and also thanks to Stakeout
-Stakeout U-Turn allows it to deal a lot of damage on a predicted switch and gain momentum for the team
-Pursuit+Stakeout is basically a mindgame that puts pressure on your opponent and traps their Pokemon
-Red Card is the icing in the cake, making sure it deals a boosted hit at least once
