She herself has reported on there being a Smash port, as well as the other lady leaking stuff iirc, so I'm inclined to believe it was just omitted from the list, but I suppose one scenario is it doesn't happen within the first twelve months. Which would be a bit of a buzzkill.

I hope that's not the case; I don't think many people wish to wait another year. I would be one of those many people that think the same.

I think that's the first time an officially licensed 3D Sonic project has ever done that.

True enough, and I still expect the Smash port in 2017, but I doubt releasing those three amiibo are top priority for Nintendo atm.

Well if it's not launching as early as Splatoon or MK it would make sense they've less info on it, but still, seems like they would know enough to include it. idk. She probably just omitted it for whatever reason.

And I'm sure AC Switch is decently far in development but that totally wouldn't surprise me as a 2018 title. Especially if that team has shifted resources towards Splatoon.

The fact there's no Smash on there (if this rumor turns out to be true later) concerns me. It would be wrong not to include some sort of Smash title for the Switch.

Having no Smash in the Switchs first year doesn't mean it's never happening.

He said as such a while ago.

He also said he's never touching Kid Icarus again and that he was more sure than ever that he was finally done with Smash Bros.

Considering he would likely have known about the Switch port when he said the latter and how Nintendo almost ported Melee and gave it online for the Wii instead of making Brawl when he almost quit the first time and we're likely getting a port now, it's likely that it's at least not Smash. Considering the former, it being an outright wildcard is entirely possible. Although if he somehow changed his mind on the Kid Icarus thing I would not be complaining at all not one bit no siree.

But the only thing I remember about his making outright new IPs outside of Smash and Kirby is that I still have no idea what Meteos is and I'm pretty sure the general public doesn't either, so. . .I'm really not sure what would happen if he went wildcard. It's basically taking a spin on a game show wheel and seeing what happens with him. Other than getting a genre reconstruction of some kind, a difficulty that contrasts with whatever the rest of the industry is doing somehow, and some cues from his other games, there's not much we can guess. There's no way of knowing what genre of game it is, what IP it is if any established one at all, what budget level it will be set at. . .

Considering the boss fights in Uprising I think Pit's got plenty enough size contrast with his enemies already.

Or maybe that's what happened to Skyworld's budget after everyone went brainwashed and crazy and Pit had to beat everything back to normal. The game is now a town building sim about raising enough money to get Skyworld back to it's former glory while the Forces of Nature attempt corporate sabotage.

I pre-ordered sometime in October. I got an alert that I needed to change my payment method. So I did and that ended up altering my ship date for some reason. All fixed now though.

XY has my vote. It did everything great, even if some may have disliked the ending, there was a lot to it that made it more like an anime and it worked well.
