No need to let the pendulum swing one way or the other.

The ballot said the data might be used for reference for future games, leakers say it's a port but that it's coming out several months after the Switch itself, and while it wasn't known for sure for it specifically other ports in a similar boat to it are apparently half new content and half old.

My conclusion is that new characters are likely to be a thing but anything else depends on in what way they potentially want to make it half new and half old. There will probably be -something- else altered but that huge wishlist almost definitely isn't happening in it's entirety.

Because she's just as "pretty" as Birdo, which isn't saying much.

Even Granbull looks cuter as a Fairy Type than that "thing". :^)
Says the one who worships the Spike the Bulldog reject.

He's not cute enough to qualified as a fairy. :p

Speaking of Smash, you know what I want now?
Alola as a stage. It travels to the different islands and the Tapus attack depending on the island you're on. Tapu Koko zips around crashing into players, Tapu Lele slows people down on the ground, Tapu Bulu hits players and deals lots of damage but is slow and Tapu Fini makes it so that players deal less damage. Occasionally, they ise Guardian of Alola and deal 75% damage to anyone they hit

Honestly, Alola is the first region where I feel like they could just pick almost anywhere and still be good to go.

Most other regions I get finicky with the thought of Smash stages, but Alola? Just throw in what you want, you'd probably have to be actively trying to pick a boring location with this one.

The platform in the first village? Sure. The first major city? Fine. One of the other cities? Alright. A cliff overlooking the ocean? Great. Aether Foundation? Just fine.

Heck,

I only saw a couple of screenshots, but from what little I saw they could probably throw in Ultra Space and do just fine as well.

I feel like I'd prefer if wherever was chosen just settled at a spot and didn't throw too many stage hazards at you, though. I'd like it if it. . .took it slow, if you will. Like a tropical vacation.

The Dewpider line's got a unique Water Bubble ability which reduces damage from fire type moves. What the game DOESN'T mention is that it double the power of Water moves! WITHOUT STAB! That thing just got a lot more threatening!

Come back to me when that Fairy of yours lose some weight.
Technically, most of the Pokémon fairies are fat. The Jigglypuff line, the Marill line, Aromatisse, the Clefairy line, arguably Mr. Mime, Carbink, the Togepi line, your precious Snubull line, Dedenne, Mega Audino, the Cottonee line, and the Slurpuff line.

Also, a real **** move on using the art that @AndreaAC made.

Catching up to Fairy Tail for no reason.

Then this happens.

They really used the characters virginity as a plot point.

They went there.

Considering Lucy has the magic power of T&A, I'm not as surprised as I should be

Also watching SHC, my life is being filled Gravity Falls as the theme was used for Invincibility
Tbf, you could say the same about a lot of shonen characters.

This is the first time I see such a thing as pleasure magic used in a non fanservice manga.
Imma guess hes talking to Lucy? Lucy, right? thats her name?
Actually, no.

The main cast were unaffected. lol (as far we know anyway, they haven't showed up).

Lucy exists. No ****ing way is it non fanservice

ALSO Z MOVE ON MIRROR MOVE IS ****ING BROKEN
'In addition to the +2 Attack, Z-Mirror Move also becomes the Z-Move of the type you copied.

For example, Pidgeot here gets +2 Attack, and since it copied Icy Wind, it uses the Ice-type Z-Move Subzero Slammer.'
VGC will love this. Hope the Pokemon company does what Johnny does with his streams so I can watch it

In other coincidencial news, the Sox Stadium happened to be advertising Hooters at the right time.

Somewhere out there, Mr. Mime is offended by your statement.

The Walking Dead really turned Telltale around. They were pretty small and now they're handling all sorts of big projects.
That's true. It's not too often that a company gets to work with both Marvel and DC IPs. I'm personally not a fan of their games though, but it's the closest many people are gonna get to the click and point adventure people like.

Just got back from Doctor Strange. It was pretty good. Definitely more out there and story focused, but I liked it. A lot of cool and good scenes. The sequel setups are interesting.

As are the end credits scenes. Looking forward to more in future.

I was looking around on Smogon when this moveset caught my eye. Its using a Z-Move on Honchkrow. Its... Its, well...

Honchkrow
Super Luck
EVs: 60 HP / 252 Atk / 196 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Tailwind
- Superpower
- Sucker Punch
- Brave Bird

Activate Tailwind for Speed Boost but as a Z-Move. Z-Tailwind increases Critical Hit Chance. Super Luck and Critical Hit boost make you always crit. Because crits ignore lowered stats, you can spam Superpower all you want. Crit Brave Bird is essentially a mini nuke, and Sucker Punch is for meddlesome Pokémon. Overall, this is incredibly scary on paper and I need to try this.

I remember a few weeks back when everyone was creating movesets for various Alola Pokemon. I might be late on this discussion, but I've finally crafted a Smash moveset for Primarina. You can read it in the spoilers tag below.

Basic animations:

Entrance: Summoned out of a Pokeball like the other Pokemon

Walk: A small set of water emerges from beneath Primarina, and she casually surfs the small wave

Dash: Similar to the walking animation, except this time, Primarina leans her body forward so that she can surf faster.

Jump: A wave of water appears beneath Primarina and surges upward, allowing Primarina to gain some elevation. If used in the air, this wave can push any nearby foe away similar to the normal water effect in Smash.

Double Jump: Primarina does an acrobatic flip in the air similar to that of a circus performer.

Tech: Primarina has a unique tech where if she techs, she will enter in a pose where she keeps her arms outstretched when she gets up.

Normal Attacks:

Jab 1: Sings a small tune, and the tune is represented with a single musical note that appears in front of Primarina and damages foes that are in range of it.

Jab 2: Similar to the first jab, except a second musical note appears after the first one.

Jab 3: Similar to the first two jabs, except a third musical note appears after the second one. When the three jobs are done together, the rhythm is similar to that of a "Do-Re-Mi."

Dash Attack: Primarina slides into the opponent with her arms outstretched.

Tilt Attacks:

Foward Tilt: Does a brief tail slap forward the front.

Up Tilt: Raises both of her arms upward as if she is trying to gain the attention of the crowd, dealing damage to anything above her.

Down Tilt: Shoots a small propulsion of water while crouching.

Aerials

Neutral Air: Performs an aerial cartwheel that damages anyone around Primarina.

Forward Air: Moves her tail forward while raising her hands in the air to look like a performer. A strong attack overall.

Back Air: Moves her tail backward while raising her hands in the air to like a performer. It is similar in strength to the forward air.

Up Air: Does a circular swimming-like motion. The attack hits twice: one from Primarina's body, the other from her tail. Her tail can even create a sweetspot that delivers strong damage and knockback, sending the opponent diagonally downward, if it makes precise contact.

Down Air: Moves her tail downward, creating a meteor spike if it hits the opponent underneath her at a sweetspot.

Throws

Grab: Shoots out a single bubble that can trap a single foe within it.

Pummel: Gently kisses the bubble that is trapping the opponent to deliver small amounts of damage. The attack can be delivered pretty fast, so its possibly to get a number of kisses for the duration of the grab.

Forward Throw: Slaps the opponent, breaking the bubble and dealing decent damage and knocking the opponent forward.

Back Throw: Moves the bubble trapping the foe behind her using her hands. Once the bubble has move behind Primarina, she sings a loud tune to pop it, dealing decent damage and knocking the foe away from her.

Up Throw: Sings a brief tune to raise the bubble trapping the opponent toward the air. Once it reaches a small distance into the air, Primarina sings a loud tune to pop the bubble, dealing decent damage and knocking the foe diagonally forward.

Down Throw: Slams her tail to the ground, breaking the bubble and delivering strong damage for a throw while throwing the opponent forward.

Smash Attacks

Forward Smash: Primarina releases a large powerful Bubble in front of herself that is bigger than the one used for her grab. The pop from the bubble delivers strong damage and knockback.

Up Smash: Primarina throws her arms in the air and creates a sphere of water above her. This sphere of water delivers strong damage to anyone caught within it, and the sphere of water transforms into a Rainbow Flourish when the attack ends. Visually, this attack strongly resembles Water Kirby's Rainbow Rain attack.

Down Smash: Primarina swims around in circles while crouching down. Those caught within the Down Smash will be trapped and end up receiving strong damage and knockback. Those that aren't caught within Primarina's attack will be pushed back thanks to the water that is being splashed from underneath the Pokemon.

Specials

Normal Special: Sparkling Aria

Primarina's signature attack. It's a chargeable attack where blue energy appears above Primarina as she starts to sing. Depending on how much you charge determines the strength of the attack. When you stop charging, the blue energy explodes thanks to a powerful song, creating a set of blue energy-like explosions all around Primarina. The strength of these explosions will depend on how long you charge the attack

Side Special: Disarming Voice

Primarina releases a song that is projected as a beam of ring-shaped hearts from her mouth. The longer you hold the B button for this attack, the longer the beam travels. Much like Thoron, it can damage multiple opponents when caught within the beam's range. You can even direct the beam upward or downward depending on where Primarina is standing.

Up Special: Aqua Jet

Primarina enshrouds herself in water and shoots herself forward at a fast rate just like a rocket. As she moves, she twirls within the the water. If she makes contact with a foe, the attack will deliver some strong damage and knockback. Visually, the attack looks similar to how it is used in the anime. Mechanically, the attack works similar to Corrin's Dragon Lunge. Much like Corrin and Rosalina's Up Specials, Aqua Jet travels in a small slant by default, but you can control how you want Primarina to fly in the air using the D-pad, even directing Primarina in a way that you can have her shoot herself vertically straight.

Down Special: Hyper Voice

A chargeable attack where Primarina puts both of her arms at her throat, doing some vocal practice to prepare to let a loud cry. How long you charge determines on how strong the attack will be. When she releases her cry, transparent circles come out of her mouth and push foes away much like what some water attacks do in Smash. Overall, this attack is very similar to Mario's F.L.U.D.D.

Final Smash: Oceanic Operetta

Primarina's Z-move. Primarina stands up and starts singing as water starts to rise and surrounding her. The water forms one giant bubble above her. She then moves the bubble around in a sort of “gentle push” like motion just like in the games. You can control where you want the bubble to move, but it will move slowly. She then sings one powerful tune, causing the bubble to fall, and once it reaches an opponent or the ground, it delivers huge damage and knockback to those it makes contact with. Water from the bubble then rains on Primarina as it bows just like in the games when it finishes its Z-Move.

Taunts

Up Taunt: Primarina stands up and extends her arms while singing a lovely tune outward similar to the games
Side Taunt: Primarina sings out a very small bubble that pops shortly afterward
Down Taunt: Primarina faces the camera and bows

Victory Animations

Animation 1: Primarina twirls around, then stands up and throws her arms in the air while singing a tune.
Animation 2: Primarina bows towards the left and right sides of her, and then she bows towards the camera.
Animation 3: Primarina gracefully jumps on several floating bubbles and then lands gracefully from the final bubble.

Let me know what you all think.

Z-Moves in general seem to make every pokemon more useful, I saw a Fearow set that shows potential mindgames, meaning there's a LOT more strategy involved now

I found Strange to be quite good, and I don't generally like the stuff Disney has been churning out lately. I still thought it was a bit formulaic (like all of Disney's stuff lately, with SW and Marvel being the biggest culprits), and afraid to take too many risks, but the visual effects, and lore made up for it. I didn't like how Strange was portayed as a cocky-smart mouth Tony Stark knockoff, and I felt the film moved to fast, but Strange's universe and concept are by far some of the most interesting elements in Marvel imo. You can't ever go wrong with Cosmic Horrors for "villains." Best part of the film was the beginning, where he was learning about Magic and all that, I actually wish they'd spent more time fleshing that out. The ending was decent too.

I like how he bested Dormammu by outsmarting him rather than outright overpowering him. It shows that Strange is no match for the godlike incomprehensible beings that dwell deep in the universe. Which is a nice change of pace for the usual Marvel formula.

Overall I'd rate it about a 7/10. Better than Deadpool, and way better than all the other cape**** this year. BvS was alright but very flawed, and Civil War was not only overrated as ****, but also really really not good at all, and I didn't bother with Suicide Squad after hearing the word of mouth and reviews, For ANOTHER superhero film and an industry oversaturated with this stuff, it was at least a breath of fresh air, kinda like Deadpool in that sense. It reminded me a lot of the first Iron Man, which I really liked.

This alone makes them more worthwhile than Mega Evolution to me.
Speaking of Mega Evolution, it's gotten an important change
Priority and speed changes don't need to wait a turn. In XYORAS, Mega Sableye would usually go first if it had a status move if it had Prankster. Now, for example, Mega Beedrill doesn't need to protect turn 1 to get it's speed boosts and can just start attacking

But, can you only use 1 Z move per battle like megas, or per pokemon. I don't know

Another Pokémon I'm pretty hype for is Victini, who's Z-Create is just insanely powerful.
Victini @ Firium Z
Ability: Victory Star
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- U-Turn / Other coverage
- Will-o-Wisp (+1 Atk, then burns)
- Bolt Strike
- V-create (260 BP Inferno Overdrive)

260 BP FIRE ATTACK
Hell, I'm gonna need to get a Victini again...

...I'm gonna have to get a **** ton of Pokémon that I use to have...
But, can you only use 1 Z move per battle like megas, or per pokemon. I don't know
Right. You can only have 1 Z-Move and 1 Mega. Thank god.
