Everyone expects Snoke to be like Luke or a lost child of an original hero.

But the concept art implies he's a new character and that just seems really lame.

The new series has to recapture that twisty magic of Luke and Leia as siblings, Vader being their father.

Yoda being so bumbling despite apparently being a high level bad ass.

It was really a problem of the prequels. Everything we were told was ''Well, yeah, of course. We heard that in the originals."

Only thing that was remotely surprising was that Boba Fett's father was the source of the Clone Wars. And that just feels pulled out of nowhere as a response to a really cool looking background character and less about being inspired.

And the anime mentioned was Monster Monsune. I just mentioned High School DxD an example. Because how stupid and weird it is but it's the only charm that it has despite being an Ecchi/Harem/Monster & Demon Fighting/Mecha anime. Monster Monsune is just Ecchi and Harem anime at the worst

Yeah it pushes that stuff way too hard, to be honest I think even more so than the manga if I'm remembering correctly (gotta fill dat 22 minutes) but it's still worth watching IMO as it fully understands it's characters/surroundings situations and uses it to it's advantage for some of the most original slapstick/self referential humor in the genre.

Except for Urusei Yatsura, which any true anime fan should watch at least once, I got over romantic comedy anime around 10th/11th grade when I saw the first episode of To Love Ru. Will still read that genre of manga, but I find myself really picky in regards to the art/basic plot and have mostly moved on to other genres.

In Miiverse there are quite alot of posts sometimes saying that is they saw someone wearing a FNAF costume, they hate their soul for just having something FNAF simply because they the posters don't like FNAF (Even insulting them with things live "They don't deserve to live'', and ''God hates them"). I saw one of them (Now deleted but I know it still) that if he/she say kids wearing FNAF costumes, he/she will tie them to a tree, throw rocks at them until they bleed all over, and yell Insults at them while the kids cry. The salt in Miiverse is really bad in general.

I just spent a good 15-20 min scouring my code for errors wondering what I did wrong (I'm a decent programmer, 7ish out of 10). Turns out Unity simply removed one of my scripts at some point in time (I have no idea when) and gave me a vague explanation: it was complaining about object references and I thought it was talking about C# object references, not Unity editor gameobject references.

I'll give High School DXD this, it's absolutely stupid and is basically fanservice with little else, but it has its moments of utter idiocy that I find to be charming. 'Tis the same which quite a bit of Ecchi. For a genre that can be as easily done as "cute girls" and call it a day (and in some cases it is like that), people seem to find more and more extreme ways to show that yes, you can in fact go deeper. Often with so bad it's good results.


Now that's not to say I'd voluntarily sit down and watch them full. As let's face it a lot of it is either romance or pointless T&A. Which sure is nice I guess, but isn't something I find wroth looking into. But I can't deny there isn't something there that makes it quaint. And when it has those moments, it's awful, but beautifully awful.

I've seen the first 2 seasons by this point of the show and just said 'This is okay but I don't wanna see anymore'. It's stupid as hell, it's tasteless but in that same regard, treat it like Senran Kagura, just blatant fun fan service. Although the comparisons to both series are somewhat unfair to Senran because the games got much better in the gameplay department and the music is pretty sweet.

But outside of that, nope. And nope again. That said, it's probably one of the 'only' 3 good anime in its genre of harem shows aside from the king of it, Tenchi Muyo.

Plus I still consider it better than Sword Art Online. That alone atleast gives it a pass in my eyes

Seikon no Qwaser (manga and to an extent the anime) has awesome story, premise, and fight scenes along with solid characters (It's like FMA with T&A), but it took the ecchi waaay too far. I forced myself to keep reading/watching because I actually wanted to see what happened next, but it got to a point where I just had to stop. I could only handle so much smut. I felt dirty after every chapter/episode.

Closest thing I remember was queens blade, but that was more so just frequent nudity (though, I couldne finish that either, but it was more so because of the non-existent plot....aside from the boobs). And that was more mild than Seikon imo
