If want to get someone motivated, just have them play Devil May Cry 3 as Vergil then DMC4 Special Edition as Vergil and Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 as Vergil
We're talking about the thing in ---'s posts which is ummm, let's just say it is absolutely NSFW
Yeah it pushes that stuff way too hard, to be honest I think even more so than the manga if I'm remembering correctly (gotta fill dat 22 minutes) but it's still worth watching IMO as it fully understands it's characters/surroundings situations and uses it to it's advantage for some of the most original slapstick/self referential humor in the genre. And the anime mentioned was Monster Monsune. I just mentioned High School DxD an example. Because how stupid and weird it is but it's the only charm that it has despite being an Ecchi/Harem/Monster & Demon Fighting/Mecha anime. Monster Monsune is just Ecchi and Harem anime at the worst
he/she will tie them to a tree, throw rocks at them until they bleed all over, and yell Insults at them while the kids cry.
Subjective. That would depend on whether you taste good with certain seasonings and garnishes. No, it's because skeletons want to eat people.
Ah. Sorry, I misread then. Whatever the case, Ecchi/Harem doesn't sound like my cup of tea so I'll just stick to the gifs and such. Save time. And the anime mentioned was Monster Monsune. Well....
That's an interesting theory.
She's regularly in the Badge Center too!
Oh and she has a travel quiz for the 3DS which is super difficult.

Except for Urusei Yatsura, which isn't much of a romantic comedy anyway, no one was saying you HAD to watch them.Edit: Just overlooked --- 's view on the matter. Still won't watch the stuff, though.
So... you would watch this kind of stuff but only in a masochistic sort of way, is that what I'm getting from this?I'll give High School DXD this, it's absolutely stupid and is basically fanservice with little else, but it has its moments of utter idiocy that I find to be charming. 'Tis the same which quite a bit of Ecchi. For a genre that can be as easily done as "cute girls" and call it a day (and in some cases it is like that), people seem to find more and more extreme ways to show that yes, you can in fact go deeper. Often with so bad it's good results.
Now that's not to say I'd voluntarily sit down and watch them full. As let's face it even with the wonderful moments of mental insanity (which even then isn't that often), it's not something that I really think needs closer inspection. And at least for me the majority of it is either harem or some sort of romance (and more down to earth than I'm making it out to be). Of which I don't particularly care for. But I can't deny there isn't something there that makes it quaint. And when it has those moments, it's awful, but beautifully awful.
I wouldn't say masochistic, but rather like a circus bear. You peek in to see it ride its little unicycle, and then leave possibly enjoying what you saw.So... you would watch this kind of stuff but only in a masochistic sort of way, is that what I'm getting from this?
I've seen the first 2 seasons by this point of the show and just said 'This is okay but I don't wanna see anymore'. It's stupid as hell, it's tasteless but in that same regard, treat it like Senran Kagura, just blatant fun fan service. Although the comparisons to both series are somewhat unfair to Senran because the games got much better in the gameplay department and the music is pretty sweet.I'll give High School DXD this, it's absolutely stupid and is basically fanservice with little else, but it has its moments of utter idiocy that I find to be charming. Now that's not to say I'd voluntarily sit down and watch them full. As let's face it a lot of it is either romance or pointless T&A. Which sure is nice I guess, but isn't something I find wroth looking into. But I can't deny there isn't something there that makes it quaint. And when it has those moments, it's awful, but beautifully awful.
Edit: Reworked the bottom paragraph.
I get what you're saying. You're just hoping that by looking into a shameless (for lack of a better word) genre, you will find a bright spot in it, is that correct?I wouldn't say masochistic, but rather like a circus bear. You peek in to see it ride its little unicycle, and then leave possibly enjoying what you saw.
For me, ecchi is only good if the story, characters, and animation are top notch and the ecchi isnt too bad.I wouldn't say masochistic, but rather like a circus bear. You peek in to see it ride its little unicycle, and then leave possibly enjoying what you saw.

In a way, yes.I get what you're saying. You're just hoping that by looking into a shameless (for lack of a better word) genre, you will find a bright spot in it, is that correct?
I've heard some things about it. And while by all means I've seen worse; I think it could've been a lot more if it either played up the seriousness, or took itself less seriously. I don't know, maybe it's just me, but it feels like an idea that could work well as a parody of Ecchi or fanservice as a whole. For me, ecchi is only good if the story, characters, and animation are top notch and the ecchi isnt too bad.
Seikon no Qwaser (manga and to an extent the anime) has awesome story, premise, and fight scenes along with solid characters (It's like FMA with T&A), but it took the ecchi waaay too far. I forced myself to keep reading/watching because I actually wanted to see what happened next, but it got to a point where I just had to stop. I could only handle so much smut. I felt dirty after every chapter/episode.
Callie's just rolling in it this timeTeam Pirates won Splatfest.

What ecchi (not hentai) have you seen that's more extreme then frequently, extendedly, and explicitly drinking breast milk -- often against a womans will and frequently occurs after some form of often fetish focused torture (strong emotions make the milk more potent) -- in order to acquire the power of god (Catholic church)?I've heard some things about it. And while by all means I've seen worse; I think it could've been a lot more if it either played up the seriousness, or took itself less seriously.
