The only thing that bothers me about recoveries in Smash 4 is that pretty much every character can return from the very edge of the KO line bar like, 2 or 3.

It still saddens ne that Puff isn't good in Smash 4. It's good in Doubles because you get a lot of KOs with Rest, but in Singles it's just so depressing.

Idk. I think Sing is pretty good, but it's just one of those moves that not everyone can use properly since it's more of a mind-game type move. I tend to fool tournament players with it, and sometimes people get caught off guard thinking just cause the animation is almost over you can avoid it and they end up being put to sleep.

Sing is not what I would call a good move, but it can be pretty fun to use online because a lot of people underestimate its range and get put to sleep while trying to punish.

The magnet ledges only make it even more dumb. There are times where you definitely should've died but nope.

My only problems with Smash 4's offstage game are air dodges having too little vulnerability in the air, and edge trumping not being reliable enough to be a consistent countermeasure to opponents going for the ledge. I think the recoveries themselves are fine and the claims of them being OP are exaggerated. A few more frames of ending lag to air dodges and at least removing the ability to avoid edge trumps by buffering a getup would help quite a bit to evening things out.

Sonic 2 and Sonic 3&Knuckles are my favorite 2D Sonic games, period.

I like 3 over 2, but I like 2's aesthetics over 3 just a bit.

@Akxareth I demand you play S3&K nao. I'm serious. Sandopolis Zone or not, I better see Hyper Sonic by the end of this day.

My favorite 3D Sonic game is Adventure 2 Unleashed. Werehog aside ( I don't hate it like others do) It's the game that brought me faith back into Sonic after that unspoken game that came prior before it. *cough06cough*

Go ahead and say what you think about all the main series games. Then a dress spinoff of your choice.

All I'll say is, Sonic has fittingly gone through loops in quality (Screw you Shadow the Hedgehog and shame on you 06 and Boom) but still has some great games, like I mentioned above. And well, I guess if the Advance series counts, I'd bring up Advance 3, since it's the only one I have played. Oh, and Sonic R. Yeah I said it.

And Chao Garden. Don't care if that doesn't count, still love that **** too death.

I stopped reading after the article complained about how there only 14 games with black female protagonists and how Danganronpa and Persona have terrible examples of transgender characters despite the article being about Samus, who's white and the fact both examples she calls terrible aren't even trans. That's the beginning. The fact the article has 'Deal with it' in the title and a misused quote from what I hear makes it worse, especially as Yoshio Sakamoto said 'As likely as it is for Samus to be a ******' or something in response to someone asking if Prime would get a PS2 port iirc

It gets worse, Wu wasn't the only one who wrote that. The other author ranted about how she wants diversity for the sake of it, complaining about how Zelda, Link, Tails and Poison shouldn't be called cisgendered. She's got a point on Poison, but she literally said she'd ignore facts. Then there's how Wu complained about Xenoblade Chronicles, a game where the average playtime is over 100 hours, not having a female character in the first 2 hours despite how Fiora is at the beginning and the facts NPCs exist. She even says 'It's not acceptable for a 2015 game' despite how Xenoblade came out in 2009

I beleve she messed up the history of the Japanese word "newhalf". It never had to do with "half" (half Japanese). According to Japanese Wikipedia "newhalf" started out as a joke on some sort of comedy group. The person apparently said something like "I'm half women and half man" to which the other person said "oh you are a newhalf" or something. Yet I've notice something as a member of the LGBTQ community, when we say we want equal representation. We still want only straight white males to be the villains or be morally questionable individuals.

The moment a member of a minority is a bad guy that is a person of color or any of the labels of the beautiful rainbow. It's bad representation.

No matter how fantastic the character is, how well respect they are, how good they are what they do, etc.

And I just have to say:

Screw you.

Yes, I want positive representation of all people.

But I also want interesting, flawed, sometimes evil, some morally corrupt, people of all creeds.

Because that's called REALITY.

I think that's kind of ridiculous. Not gonna knock on Wu or anything since I don't know much about her, but I see this sentiment in other places on the internet.

Like, any time a character defies gender roles some people suggest that the character is trans. That kind of thinking just reaffirms gender roles, if anything. I totally get why some people want to see more trans characters in games- it's nice to feel represented and that's a privilege I have that others don't... but c'mooooooon.

Poison's one of my favourites as a casual who looks at the characters solely based on the characters themselves, she can get **** done and isn't afraid of getting her hands dirty, especially in style. You hit the nail on the head. We don't need more LGBT characters for the sake of LGBT characters. We need LGBT characters done right, as LGBT isn't a ****ing factor in personality. Case and point, Jesus from Walking Dead comics and some guy in Borderlands iirc
