I blame Nintendo for the lack of Smash news. If jokes being taking too seriously/being more rude then necessary aside, this place always goes to Hell when there's nothing Smash related to talk about I've noticed.

The only reason I think there might be a direct this week is because of the Hyrule Warriors news, but I suppose they could just drop that whenever.

2. Making Samus seem weak and foolish compared to the manga is obnoxious
3. WHY IS SHE SO SHORT
4. I'm dissapointed all the story things ****ed this game over. Other than d-pad <<<<<<<<<<<<<<< control stick the gameplay actually seems fun. I'm dissapointed we will never see an improvement of this system because the backfire would be too great. . .

I also blame Nintendo for the pitiful job they've been doing at supplying amiibos. Seriously I'm getting sick of having to pay more money just to get them from Japan when they should have been available in stores.

Not being sarcastic. I've been "optimistic" for a future one since May (excluding the Smash Direct)
I didn't say it earlier, but I finally caught up to Steven Universe, and this show his freaking good.
Hold on... isn't Samus like 6'3 or something? If she is short, isn't everyone in the game a 2 meters giant?

Yooooo, is it just me, or are Olimar/Alph good in 1.1.1. Its ridiculous how well Ive been doing with them lately.

Strangely enough, every trailer up until Shulk's is listed in the playlist. The Wave 4 video comes after this one.

Wave Four is below the private video. I think it's just a vid we've already seen but probably set to private by accident

There's good reason to believe Iwata's death shook up any scheduled proceedings, so we shouldn't have expected any Directs during the summer. Still, I guess we'll just have to wait and see in the following months, especially now that the Smash Ballot was officially ended.
It's a 'half glass, half full' kind of thing. If you don't want to hold your breath for anything, that's fine, I won't force you otherwise. Just trying to maybe cheer you up about the situation, is all.

I really liked the gameplay of Other M (as I'm pretty sure I've stated before) even though it was a bit repetitive and knew nothing of samus outside of playing some of Prime 3 and smash, so I had nothing to compare her to and didnt see an issue with her portrayal; so I just thought "Oh, he's a father figure and she's just respecting him" and that they simply used it to explain her not using her abilities instead of just mysteriously losing them. I still think the reaction was blown out of proportion, but I'm mostly just really sad that style of gameplay may never be revisited....
