It says that you can "unlock all it's music tracks by playing the game and purchasing the Hyrule Castle 64 stage".

Neat. Pirate Ships a good stage. And afaik it's pretty rare for MH to cross into other series (as opposed to the other way around), so that's cool too.

Nintendo should've promoted this more.

yes, but the majority of the song used by Pirate Ship (actually, all of them except for the original Great Sea theme) are still in the game.
- Dragon Roost Island (Skyloft)
- Tal Tal Heights (Skyloft)
- Gerudo Valley (Temple)
- Song of Storms (Temple)

Idk about Village of the Blue Maiden. Great Sea is probably switched out for the "Great Sea / File Select Medley" (Skyloft)
