I may be the only one that thinks this way, but if anything all that's going on his wishful pushing for the indie dev's characters, and really that's all. They are doing so in a cheeky manner, but from what I'm seeing so far, it may just be them hoping for the best, and they may know he will make it or not. If he's in, they should know about it, but they still are hoping for the best is my viewpoint on things, although I may just be being thoughtful for their sake.

They don't need that press. Not with DLC, physical copies coming, and the amiibo.

I think that talking about Smash is sort of secondary at this point as they're doing a lot of things a indie company would only dream of.

With the amiibo, the success of SK on Nintendo platforms, the way that Yacht Club games has started discussing the ballot and Smash Brothers in general terms.

I think there's a lot more sleeper characters than last patch.

The Major Buffs need any help they can get. Mega Man needs something beyond almost non-existent Leaf Shield buffs. Robin got a lot of love, but I think could use a little bit more, not much, but more. Palutena/DK need something to make them exist in the standard environment, but not much IMO because customs can be a thing. Miis/Remaining DLCs I think are fine for now (though that major Swordfighter buff may need fixing)

Top Tiers are pretty self explanatory. By no means do they need to be run into the ground, mostly just less reward (especially Defensive Villager). Luma I still don't think needed that health buff a few patches ago. Please no more Ike buffs, let his metagame develop and give others more focus (silly Japanese Tier Lists).

Dark Pit, last I checked is still slightly worse than regular Pit, that and I would like to see further differences between the two. My opinions aside, I'd LMAO if we ended up splitting the newly unified board again sometime down the road.

People may not like Balance Updates, but overall I think they've been overwhelmingly positive, and I while I would like to see the meta game advance/see more sleeper characters start to gain some recognition, I'd rather have more in the short term than a few in the long term.
