This is news to me, but it appears Nintendo is banning entire Wiis across all games that have used hacks on its WiFi Connection (WFC). Apparently, if you're banned and try to connect online, you'll get an error code 20102. This is where I frist heard about this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j3G5S7beaVI

Nintendo's support page has this to say about error code 20102:
http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/wfc/en_na/ds/results.jsp?error_code=20102&system=Wii&locale=en_US

Searching google, I found tons of unconfirmed rumors about how it works and how Nintendo "tags" your Wii. So I'm wondering if this will affect all of us who play Brawl+ on WFC against only friends via Friend Codes, or if it will only affect online cheaters who play with random people on WFC (such as MK:Wii or The Conduit).

Insight?

Nah, they only scan MKW really, every ban so far except the initial one has been based off Mario Kart Wii. I've been banned for a day or so before, not a big deal. I only use hacks on Brawl anyway, its safe, I've spent so many hours online with Brawl, they have only done one real scan.

There's a reason they don't do Brawl. 8 million copies is a lot less than 15 million.

^ Besides, I'm sure if it became a widespread problem, homebrew people and hackers would find a way around it....>_> So in the present time, there shouldn't be any worry about hacks on Brawl, I haven't heard of a case where someone got banned for using Brawl+.

Only in With Anyone, there was already a topic on this before and they only ban people who cheat in With Anyone. In With Friends (where you would be using Brawl+ in the first place) you don't get banned.

If you use Brawl+ when playing with anyone, you will desynch unless all the players are using Brawl+. So they can't really ban you as other's won't complain, and you won't do it anyway. Just stick to with friends and you'll be fine.

The only practical way you can get a Brawl+ match online is by a friend matches. So no one is really going to complain about it to Nintendo.

And having the B+ codes isn't actually an advantage over people without it. It just causes the game to desynch and both players will end up attacking the air and jumping off of the stage.

They can use that for MK Cheaters but Brawl?

There are no names and rankings and the noobs playing in "with anyone" actually deserve to get *****.
