Behold the glory that is the 3DS. I believe it was announced in March. This thing is capable of rendering graphics in 3D without any glasses or addons. There are a few games they revealed that I am completely ecstatic about and there are features I love too.

First of all, take a look at the new features. Here's what I noticed when I looked at it:

- Analog pad (Akin to the PSP)
- New Power button (I know it's not that big of a difference, but I think it looks sexy)
- Start and Select are now below the touch screen
- Home button
- Top screen is bigger
- 3D slider (like the contrast slider for the Game Boy but with 3D effects)

As with the 3D effects, I heard during the Nintendo conference that 3D is only on the top screen since the touch pad gets smudged and it doesn't look good with both. I don't really care.

Move developers like Warner Bros. and Dreamworks are also making movies that are compatible on the 3DS.

I'm REALLY excited about a couple of games announced.

What I'm also REALLY excited about is the fact that they finally upgraded graphics. You'll see that below.

First up:

Mario Kart on the 3DS

Now, really the only thing we know now is Mario and Luigi are in it, but it looks very promising and I will definitely buy it after I get a certain game I will mention later.

Yeah yeah, not a lot to talk about with just screenshots, but still:

This is so much win on so many levels. The title is Kid Icarus: Uprising

Before anything, watch the trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a7detDcmMKY

First things first, note the upgraded graphics. This game looks like a freaking gamecube game on a DS. The fast paced action too looks very smexy. MOVING ON TO MY MOST ANTICIPATED GAME!

Paper Mario on the 3DS!

Oh yeah, this is what I've been waiting for since the DS came out. I've asked Nintendo is a letter every year about this with no reply. Now it's coming out and it'll be the FIRST game I buy.

So.......uh yep. What do you all look forward to this holiday season? I'll probably also get the new Zelda game too by the way.

edit: I just noticed something that's not really too important. Look the location of the analog pad. It's parallel with the ABXY buttons which means Nintendo plans on making most games recommended with the analog pad and not the D-Pad.

I think the Kirby game looks really cool. It looks really fluid, and between you and me, I'm a sucker for 'cute' games. My friends are all playing call of duty and left for dead while I'm playing pokemon, mario, kirby, and stuff like that.

I can't wait for Paper Mario on the 3DS. I like how it looks like it's going pack to TTYD gameplay. That was much better than SPM imo.

Dude I know. I was excited but a little nervous about the gameplay until I saw the battle scene.

jolly old england. hohoho.
In a way, I'm a little annoyed some of my favourite developers turned out to be developing for the 3DS the last few years rather than the Wii. But I'll get over it.

Games I want in order of importance: Paper Mario 3DS, Goldeneye (if it uses gc controllers), Animal Crossing (depending how ''new'' it is), Mario Kart, Kirby, DKC, Wii party. I'm not sold on zelda yet.

...I need more money
