I just downloaded both main and patch, it keeps freezing once i pick a stage, Help?
Do you have anything else on your SD Card besides NFreak's build?
Did you download the main download then the patch or did you download the patch first?
And can the problem be your SD cards?

Might I suggest reformatting your SD Card then redownloading NFreak's build and nothing else.

EDIT: Also, the new Chemical Plant Zone plays like a charm. I love it.

I had nothing on my sd card. I downloaded the main one first then the patch. Im using Homebrew as well so idk if that plays a factor

Try running Project M through the modless method and see if anything changes.
That shouldn't make a difference. The same files are loaded either way, the only difference is how it's launched.

I've seen this issue reported by a few people before. I believe it may be an issue with the stage expansion code. Reformat your SD card and try flicking the lock switch, that usually does it.

The removal of the "You're too slow!" Sonic Taunt breaks my heart. How else am I going to irritate the hell out of every single person I play against now?! :'(

Liking alot of the new stuff, especially the Vibrant Wario/Dedede. The fixed up Chemical Plant Zone works a treat too. Still not too sure about that Phazon Suit though. I've been replaying Metroid Prime recently, and the suit has more red than that. The Szasz texture is much closer to the actual suit than the one in the newest patch.

Still unable to do links, but I'd certainly look into adding:
The Creation Trio Spear Pillar by E-Scope12
That newly balanced Pokemon Stadium, definitely
Casino Night Zone by soopercool101 (Maybe over Aquatic Ruin or something)

If you want to restore the default Sonic voice, delete pf/sfx/45.sawnd, that'll do it.

The Phazon Suit is really just a replacement for the default dark color, since that one was based on the dark suit. I'll look into the one you mentioned though.

Haven't seen the new Spear Pillar, is it any different than the one I currently have in there?

The new Pokemon Stadium is really good, but the issue with that is it's a default, usually tournament-legal stage. I'm trying to avoid touching most of those. Maybe I can offer two versions of the build?

I forgot about Casino Night Zone, I think I'll replace Aquatic Ruin with it. It's a much better stage overall. I'm just not a fan of the main platform texture, the solid red block.

The new Spear Pillar I believe changes up the lighting depending on the Pokemon that appears in the background, and replaces the Cresslia/Darkrai (Which always looked too small for me) form with a new Giratina version with red lighting.

Maybe you can replace Aquatic Ruin with one of the sonic stages made by this guy if you don't want Casino Night

Also, would it be possible for you to add Alloys to the roster? I wanna use them for non-serious matches and because of some of the skins they have are rather interesting.

I found it, I love it, and I already put it in. I did some slight modifications to Giratina's textures, they seemed really bland.

I replaced Aquatic Ruin with PM 2.5's Green Hill Zone with a Marble Hill Zone theme. About the Alloys, I don't think so, not until I get all of this working with Brawl Ex which is seeming pretty unlikely.

Dang, those are 2 less Waluigi's I can add to the roster. Build ruined forever.

All joking aside, can you consider replacing the "Weegee" skin with Dr. Luigi or maybe even Cloud Luigi? I know I can replace it on my own(which I already did) but just having it on the build just feels kind of wrong in a way. It looks too similar to the normal Luigi costume and its a reference to a tired old meme. Sorry if this is coming off as whinny or annoying.

Hey there love the mod very cool skins and stages,

I haven't had much time to play with it but I've found two problems. The stage music sometimes cracks and sounds terribly staticy. Secondly the Dixie Kong skin for Diddy Kong has a bug with it where his tail whip attack does no damage unless your in front of Dixie and even then it has a very small hit box, his attack works fine with Diddy. Not sure if any of these have been mentioned.

Great Work keep up the updates look forward to next one.

Good to know, I'll look for a replacement for that model soon then. The music crackling... I'm not really sure. I've never seen that myself. Try reformatting your card or messing with the lock switch if it continues to be an issue.

Yeah, I should probably change it. It doesn't really look right.

Finally fixed the custom music, which means I can finally use the Cave Story stage without muting my TV, which is a godsend. As much as I like Moonsong, have you thought about using this?: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QchGtNWjTOA&feature=kp
I really like that actually. I'll see how it feels on the stage.

Has anyone complained about pyrosphere being laggy? It ain't unbearable but I am avoiding the stage because of that.

Also, the song for Dracula's Castle is weird. The music, unlike others, keeps on playing when I enter the CSS if I listen to it in soundtest.

Love the costumes! The Ninja Squirtles are the best thing in the world.

That Okami stage is beautiful, but for some reason the audio is messed up, similar to what Wargod was mentioning. It sounds like it is trying to overlay either WarioWare or Game and Watch music and causing garbled music to play.

I haven't heard much about lag, it's a lot better than the old version of it too. Keep in mind that custom stages and custom costumes often don't mix. The lag can get pretty crazy. I'll check out that sound issue, but it's very minor so I likely won't do much with it.

Whenever I select a sm4sh stage it just freezes, why is this?

I can't reproduce either of these issues on my end. Try reformatting your SD card, flicking the lock switch around, etc etc.

So I'm wondering if anyone can help me out. I'm trying to get rid of any costumes that have changed bones/hitboxes; while this isn't really a tournament-friendly build, I want to keep it competitive in most aspects, which means fixing up the costumes that change these things. The issue is, unless the original poster of each costume on Brawl Vault said anything about changed bones, I wouldn't really notice if they're different.

If anyone can help me put together a list of costumes with bone edits, and thus need replacements, that'd be awesome. It's a bit late to put together a concrete list of credits for everything in this build, but I can put a couple names in the splash screen or something for anyone that contributes in a big way (some of you already have, I didn't forget anyone!).

I already know that Dixie has to go. I'm unsure about Mega Charizard Y and Samus's Light and Dark suits. I believe SJS's Zero Suit Samus is legal, but that should be checked on. The new Young Link model supposedly fits Toon Link's bones now, so I think that's alright.

Aside from the obvious (cbliss and the expansion stuff), the only other code in use is a volume normalization mod. What do you mean by song cycler? Sounds interesting.

Well, it's a code that'll make songs cycle. For example, I could make it cycle my menu songs. So every time I play a game, and come back to the menu, a new song would play. You set the order so once it's played the songs you've listed, it'll start from the begging of the cycle and so on.

I know the Toon Zelda/Sheik are off for sure. Also, has the random stage issue been fixed? It's been a while since I checked in here

For some reason ness keeps appearing as a new challenger, and when I have him, his map doesn't load and my game crashes. Any idea?

That's just a Project M issue, nothing with this build in particular. Technically, even though everything is available from the start in PM, some Brawl leftovers like character unlock sequences are still present.

It hasn't that I know of, the stage expansion code hasn't been updated in a while.

Not sure if this is a bug with the build, or just PM in general, but if you use Dr. Mario's Cape, then follow it up with his F-Air, the cape bugs out and gets stuck to his hand until you do another move.

It's a bug with the build. The fitmario.pac installed gives the blue mario costume actual ice abilities and fire mario fire abilities.

I don't mean to double post but I could make some CSPs for costumes that don't have good looking ones if you want me to make some, just list some costumes and I'll do my best.

That'd be awesome if you could, I'd really appreciate it. I'd hold off for now though, considering a big PM update is on the way. I'm waiting until after that update to put together the next patch, it'll need a lot of work and I'll be replacing a lot of the costumes.

Also, would you guys prefer if I completely replace costumes with different bones than the default models, or slap a big warning sign on their CSPs (like PM used to use for lagging costumes)?

Depends on the costume, if you can find a replacement or find a costume that's simply much better, replace it. If you wanna keep the costume and can't find a suitable replacement, just say something like "Not good for comp". I suggest you keep the Toon Zelda just so we can have the full Toon Gang though.

Hey NFreak, you should add this really well done stage based off of Smash 4 for the 3ds Arena Ferox from Fire Emblem Awakening.

Do you think you could give a list of which bstrm files are what? I have to delete some so it will fit on my SD and I'd prefer to delete songs I don't like anyway.

You can use the brawl song and stage managers to see which songs are custom. Use the stage manager for stage music and the song manager for stuff like menus and stage songs that don't work in the stagemanager.

It's a little tricky. When I put the next patch up I'll see if I can provide a version with just the costumes.

Hey N, could you possibly put your build on MEGA?
MediaFire, for whatever reason, isn't loading the captchas...
