But then, Conner went and generously BUMPed this thread. Now, it's back from the dead, alive and kickin'.

Here is a little Hall of Fame. It is the order of the people that post on here regularly, from most to least:

1) MysticKenji / Terywj / Wii4Mii 99
2) Conner
3) mood4food77
4) retho_the_hero / chubb-o-wub

What did I do to bump it? And also, Thanks for putting me on the Hall of Fame!

The fossil evos may seem over-powered, but here's the twist. You can only get one White Coal and only use one on each game. That way, it would be very hard to get all of the evos. I'm in a Rocktype modd, so all of these came to mind :)

It would seem to be the gem-based Pokemon still missing from the series. Unless you count Sableye.

Also, squid pea-ell-zee, Game Freak.
Which we do count. It has an evo as well: Sableare.

And a squid has been made: Squirasite.

Anything else?

The last post on here was made by mii on June 14th. You went and looked through all the dead threads, found this one, and generously BUMPed it on September 4th.

Thanks to you (and everyone else for posting like crazy, as well as mii for starting this thread), wii've made it to 60 pages. :D

Oh yeah, and those are excellent fossil evos, chubb-o-wub! :bigthumbu What does Prehistoric do?

Until wii meet again,

Prehistoric is one odd ability. I think it should mean it dies to natural moves because they where extinct when we made all of this technology.

That would mean these are only hit by natural types (Normal, Bug, Flying, Rock, Water, Grass, Fire, Ground, Ice, Fighting, Dragon, and Poison) and not man-made ( Ghost, Dark, Steel, Electric, Psychic)

But, because some of these have gone extinct due to a volcano or a meteor, or whatever you believe, each one with the ability has no resistance or weakness to Poison and Ice. This means Outrados is not weak to Ice and Impenedon is vulnerable to Poison attacks.

Does this seem over-powered?

Well, Prehistoric would probably be somewhat debatable, as the dinosaurs could have died from anything at all, from thunderbolts to mammals. I present the idea for it to cause the opponent to lose the use of type-match bonuses, since the dinosaurs operated on the "bigger is better" principle.

OMG OMG OMG...

No one's posted here in almost a day! Having returned, I refuse to let this thread die so suddenly, and I believe another pic is in order. Today's Poke is:

Sablaire, Sableye's current "nextgen" evo. Another Darkness Pokemon that loves to hoard (and sometimes eat) precious jewels. It usually resides in caves, but it will happily live in the basements of human homes, often without detection. If you find one of these buggers creeping around your home, just give it a gem and ask it to leave; it should respect your wishes, especially if the jewel you give it is particularly valuable.

Yeah...I think it's called Malisc...
But Heartisc could be a pre-evo or something...
Yes! That's what it was. Malisc.

Heartisc could be a pre-evo, though. Just make sure it learns something that Luvdisc and Malisc don't that makes them useful. ;)

I resurrect this with knowledge I gained firsthand yesterday. The game is not always logical when it comes to undefined evolutions. To explain this, I refer to my FireRed file, which has yet to recieve Hall Of Famers. My Golbat, Lum, who just yesterday reached full happiness, gained a level and started the evolution sequence. However, as soon as he passed the time where pressing B won't cancel the evolution, he suddenly stopped. The text at the bottom showed "...?" and it went back to the field.

I suppose that this would also occur with Chansey and Eevee. My point is that the game doesn't always maintain continuity, as some people might think, so an evolution of that sort is not ridiculous.

The "...?" when your Golbat was evolving was because you did not have the National Dex yet...

that's a different scenario

seadra can't evolve into metaldra by trading while holding metal coat cause technically, you can trade seadra with a metal coat already, and it does nothing

so why now does it suddenly evolve with it

It would be kinda cool to give Luvdisc a split Evo. One evolves from disliking it's trainer, the other from loving it's trainer. One could be more Physical the other better with Special attacks.

Just My opinion.

Made changes to both slightly.
And adding a shared pre-evo:
Stonake
Type: Dragon/Steel
Ability: Dragon Skin/Solid Rock
Stats: 50 in all
Evolution depends on coloring (Light Blue = Diamerpent/Pink = Perlerpent)
Evolves at Lvl40 no matter what.

This seems like a desperate attempt to keep this thread alive...

Why would it's type determine what it will evolve in to? I think it's appearence should differ.
