Have we established if Hatsune Miku counts as a video game character? I'm still confused on that.Verde Coeden Scalesworth
Is it possible that I can make a support thread for Hatsune Miku?
There was an older thread in 2012 by Croph towards her inclusion in Smash 4: https://smashboards.com/threads/lost-songs-found-hatsune-miku-for-ssb4-thread.327029/
I'd like to make a new one supporting her for Ultimate.

Vocaloid is within the same technicalities as other software like Mario Paint, Wii Music, and Art Academy. They're all interactive, and she's inherently a program at heart. Project Diva also justifies her video game presence (albeit, it wasn't her initial start). She certainly has a chance and she isn't a true 4th party like Goku or Shrek for instance.Have we established if Hatsune Miku counts as a video game character? I'm still confused on that.
Well I'd say Hatsune Miku counts, albeit at the edge of a grey area. At least she's an actual character created for software and not a physical object like ROB.Vocaloid is within the same technicalities as other software like Mario Paint, Wii Music, and Art Academy. I'll try to explain this as best I can when I make the post.

It's more the owner has to be inactive a very very long time, and if not, then you just need to talk to them and see if they're fine with handing it over.Verde Coeden Scalesworth What are the site’s policies when it comes to taking over a support thread? I think it has something to do with the thread being inactive, but I just wanted to check.
Alright. Got it, thanks! It's more the owner has to be inactive a very very long time, and if not, then you just need to talk to them and see if they're fine with handing it over.
Though that's since I was a mod. I'd ask Cyn on the actual month limit.
