I wouldn't mind the SMT5 protag. He/she was pretty cute. I wonder if they have a set gender or if they gave them a more ambiguous design so you can pick your gender and still use the same protag.Just a reminder that SMT still doesn't have content in Smash, not even Jack Frost as a measly spirit.
Demi-fiend for Smash let's go.
I think a spirits event for both SMT3 Remastered and SMTV is pretty likely.Just a reminder that SMT still doesn't have content in Smash, not even Jack Frost as a measly spirit.

Callllllled itHolllly crap, the fake F-Zero account just posted a very strange gay porn video. It's definitely fake.
Man why am i not surprised some troll qent through all that effort just to post gay porn.Holllly crap, the fake F-Zero account just posted a very strange gay porn video. It's definitely fake.
Featuring Dante from the Devil may cry series as a spirit.I think a spirits event for both SMT3 Remastered and SMTV is pretty likely.
How’d they fake a Nintendo.co.jp email addressWith the F-Zero account revealed to be fake, I'm starting to wonder if the Mario 35 account is also a fake, likely run by the same person.
Both are named "aaaaaaa" so its plausible
The new F-Zero is very progressive.
I think this is Nintendo's first AO rated game. One for the history books.
I just expected Falcon to be the one on top.
Actually only the Japanese account mentioned it being 10 minutesOnce it was announced on Twitter we all knew this was going to be a ten minute presentation focused solely on already announced third party games
"Show me your moves!"Holllly crap, the fake F-Zero account just posted a very strange gay porn video. It's definitely fake.
Makes me wonder if some of the leaks about the 35th anniversary is related to the fake twitter accounts. With the F-Zero account revealed to be fake, I'm starting to wonder if the Mario 35 account is also a fake, likely run by the same person.

Genuinely surprised Midna wasn't among the announced characters, but hey, I'm not complaining. More Skull Kid's always good.Just coming in here to make sure you all realize what just happened.
I'm of course talking about Skull Kid getting his own adventure.
Best news all year.
I should have seen it coming.THIS BOI IS A BOTTOOOOOOOMMMMMMM~
This is a great point. There are a lot of toxic, entitled fans out there who display some awful behavior online and who don't care about the context of business or any other factors when it comes to news or information. However Nintendo has gleefully profited off of the Direct model in terms of marketing and PR in the last five years and has chosen to make presentations like they've done as the cornerstone of their communication line to fans. When that line begins to look like its slowing down considerably with no real context given to explain why (even when Metroid Prime 4's delay was presented openly to the public to almost universal understanding by fans) then a growing antipathy and disappointment is inevitable. While I would be the first to say Nintendo fans have some growing up to do, Nintendo struggling right now with reveals is something that I think they've brought upon themselves. They perpetuate "hype culture" to keep fans on their toes, but that also creates fans who wildly wait for the rush of adrenaline and dopamine that a Direct creates. All of their announcements have an air of mystery around them, but it also means they don't communicate much else.
I think quite a few people would be pleased to hear, "We will be presenting on upcoming titles from Nintendo in August" as opposed to aimlessly waiting for a month and a half. That is what other gaming companies have done. I find it almost disrespectful to the consumer that they are not providing transparency.
.
And 2020 continues to be the never ending maelstrom of suck that it is.Holllly crap, the fake F-Zero account just posted a very strange gay porn video. It's definitely fake.
You guys do realize Sakurai is a fan of FE Correct?"for Ultimate"
The notion of even MORE FE characters in future Smash games literally turns my stomach. I'm sorry, I have no animosity toward FE as a franchise, but it seems to me that people overlook Sakurai himself saying "there are too many Fire Emblem characters in the game"
Additional FE characters would just mean Sakurai was being forced to work on more characters he didn't care about, just because Nintendo told him to.
That's also part of what made Byleth such a disappointing end to the first FP. There wasn't a single character that felt like they were only included with financial incentive in mind. Banjo comes from a competing console manufacturer, Joker comes from a game that isn't even available on Nintendo systems, etc. Closest you could even argue is Hero, but Dragon Quest was so evidently an IP Sakurai had a lot of passion for, that you can't pretend like Sakurai wouldn't have wanted to work with that franchise.
Byleth's inclusion was such a sour end to the pass for so many cause it was reality hitting. It was Nintendo saying "yeah y'all had your fun, but we've got **** to sell." It wasn't about creativity, or imaginative gameplay, or pleasing fans, or celebrating history. It was about cramming one product into another product to promote a third product.
Byleth is pretty fun to play as, and I'm glad that their inclusion pleased a lot of you. But unlike Terry, Banjo, and the others... Byleth wasn't included for those reasons.
I disagree somewhat with this statement because fans have the right to be angry at companies that don't perform. People get angry at Starbucks, Amazon, Ebay, Facebook, etc. We need to provide constructive feedback. While I agree that at the end of the day, this is just video games, I don't think it's uncalled for or unfair for fans to be frustrated...at Nintendo. Kelios doesn't deserve anything that has been thrown at him, as once again Nintendo fans overhyped themselves into thinking there would be crazy announcements in a wild abundance.
That said, I find it frankly shocking that Nintendo has dropped the ball this hard with their own content. Sony puts together an hour long presentation. Microsoft will be presenting nothing but games on the 23rd.
Nintendo tweeted about Paper Mario, and they had the Min Min presentation. We already knew about an ARMS character, and that was largely put together by Sakurai himself...which is pretty crazy.

It probably sounds ridiculous, because they're a company and I give them money for their product. They don't actually owe me anything. But what is actually happening at Nintendo that they can't create a 40 minute video over the course of several months?
At the end of the school year, my assistant principal made a "community video" for the kids, parents, and faculty. It was about 20 minutes long, but she got it done in roughly a week. This is during Covid, mind you, so everyone was at home. This does not require being in the office, it requires internet connection and recording software, software that Nintendo clearly has considering they gave a set to Sakurai to record.
I'm just not understanding what's going on with Nintendo right now. They really dropped the ball, and in a time when people could really use something nice to look forward to (not to say "think of the children" but especially younger kids) they are nearly radio silent.
It's weird.
You must have read my post wrong.I disagree somewhat with this statement because fans have the right to be angry at companies that don't perform. People get angry at Starbucks, Amazon, Ebay, Facebook, etc. We need to provide constructive feedback.
I definitely don't blame Sakurai or his team for any of these items. I do wish we could get reveals quicker to help weaken this leak culture that is causing a lot of frustration and emotions among the Smash fan base.
However, being a Nintendo fan and Smash fan for a long time, you start to realize a few things about Nintendo:
1. Their marketing/business decisions always leave you questioning and disappointed versus other players (i.e. Sony)
2. Nintendo is very Japan focused. Every other market is second tier.
3. With Smash, the early trailers are always high on hype and get you engaged but the final trailers/reveals are always a thud. This was the case with Brawl, Smash 4, and Ultimate. Sakurai throws out all of the good stuff at the start. A great example with Ultimate was the "Everyone is Here" July trailer, August 8th trailer which was the height of the Smash hype, but a rather mediocre November trailer ending on a clone character, Ken, and a Pokemon character, Incineroar. However, the November trailer gave us hope with the DLC content. DLC pact 1 then fit the pattern reaching its height with the July E3 reveal of Hero and Banjo but ending on a slight thud with Byleth. I expect FP#2 to work the same way. FP character #7 or #8 will probably be a very popular character but don't expect much from the final reveal. Smash has never, historically, ended on a major bang.
Even the DLC for Smash 4 gave us Mewtwo, Ryu, Cloud and others to start out but ended with Corrin and Bayonetta. Although Corrin and Bayonetta are OK characters, they definitely aren't the bang to end on and are not near as exciting as Mewtwo, Ryu, Roy, or Cloud.
Yeah, every year the Switch alternates between amazing and meh. This was already looking to be a pretty weak year even before COVID hit, so next year's gonna be great. These partner directs will live and die on whether they can deliver at least one big bomb shell.
Here's an artist's interpretation of what 2021 will look like if we get one Direct Mini per month like the one we got until the end of this year;
I have to live with Godzilla vs Kong constantly being delayed because everything keeps getting shoved back it it's release date, giving it no breathing room whatsoever.Look it could be worse, we could be the movie industry right now.
I miss going to the movies so much right now.
Lol, I just realized the last movie I saw in theatres (and will likely see for a long time) was Sonic.Look it could be worse, we could be the movie industry right now.
