What I hate about Wario characters is that they're all pretty much the same. Equally... kind of... bad picks.

I would rank him above 9-Volt, but I like the idea of having a character that would use various nintendo themed moves better.

I think Mona has a shot since she is a fan favorite, the second most important Wario Ware character, can have a creative moveset, loves Wario, and has red hair. You need somebody with red hair other than mostly blondes, brunettes, blue heads, and baldies. :D

Meah, I'd rather have a brand new Super Mario 64 sequel (that plays without outer space physics or stuff like FLUDD, although that'd be cool if it was optional) than Sunshine. Sunshine had that weird camera, the controls felt too loose, and the level design could have been better. Plus I hated how the whole game was based around FLUDD. However, I loved all the cool new non-FLUDD related physics stuff.

Speaking of which, what Super Mario Galaxy stage(s) do you think should be in Smash=??? I like the Galaxy Observation stage ideas, as well as the Battlerock Galaxy idea, amongst others.

Edit: If we get another Wave Race, it needs to be a progressive evolution, much like what happened with Tony Hawk's Pro Skater. The first 8 games generally evolved more in more. After that, the series featured awkward controls and really move backwards. Blue Storm felt like it went slightly backwards from Wave Race 64.

Speaking of which, a stage from the 1st Wave Race (maybe that stage with the dolphin) would be EPIC in smash! (N64 graphics, too=???) I loved that game to death!

Personally, I agree Arc. I would be fine with just about any stage from either Mario Galaxy game. I also agree on Bowser's Castle. That stage is just a few feathers short of being "needed." Personally, I would love it if that stage was a combination of several Bowser Castle levels in various Mario games.

However, I also want the Airship stage from Super Mario Bros. 3, or really anything from Super Mario Bros. How is that every canon Mario console game up to Sunshine has a stage in smash except the best game in the series BY FAR=???

Also, this song needs to be in Smash. This isn't an opinion, this is a FACT!!!

Edit: LOL at Ollie the Magical Bum. That guy is overpowered.

Yeah Pro Skater 3 was my favorite in the series, but I loved all of them up to Project 8. Proving Ground was good, but it fails next to the other games.

Also, this song would also be a great add-on song to Final Destination, Lylat Cruise, and a Bowser's Castle, Super Mario Galaxy, or Airship stage.

I remember the first time I played Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2. I couldn't believe it when I unlocked Spiderman! Imagine SSB having guest characters as crazy as THPS!

I like the stage concept, Arcadenik! It gives a nice Bowser Castle feel. One question: is the button that usually kills the bridge able to be clicked by fighters,work like Bridge of Eldin, work like Green Hill Zone, or just be in the background? Or something else? Either way I hope he gets the idea

@Mischief- Lol, I had the same reaction. Honestly, that's kind of what I'm hoping for when it comes to third party characters. Something cool and unexpected (like Viewtiful Joe) but not completely random and out-of-place (like an anime character)

Characters that are completely different as in the case of Snake and Raiden shouldn't be reduced to mere alts of another character. That's just a horrible idea in general and a slap in the face to the people who actually might have wanted those characters as fully playable. Now making Dr. Mario an alt of Mario (much as I hate it) is acceptable because Dr. Mario is real talk, basically just Mario in a labcoat. Perfect as an alt costume. Just saiyan

Not quite IMO. Super Mario 3D Land IMO a mix of Super Mario Land 1 & 2 and Super Mario World to me with some aspects of Super Mario Bros. 1 & 3 and Super Mario 64.

If Yoshi needs an alternate outfit/costume, it should be Boshi!

Also, I gotta say about 3/4ths of the roster has no business getting an alternate outfit... unless by that you mean a look based on an older model. Like how Sonic used to be shorter and fatter. However, a Shadow or Metal Sonic outfit of Sonic would be worthwhile IMO.

I was recently playing Mischief Makers on my old N64, and that's when I thought about how she would be a cool character to play as in Smash, even though her chances of getting in are very low.

She's not popular at all.

Alternate characters should STILL relate to their series imo.

Sonic - Shadow - Metal Sonic are all near same and same series

Mario - Doctor Mario

DK - Funky Kong

Yoshi - Boshi

Toon Link and Young Link are too different

I agree Arc. That's why I suggested it. Metal Sonic is one of my favorite Sonic characters. Plus Metal Sonic is probably going to be a trophy, NPC, or maybe a boss or enemy. Shadow fits too. All 3 of them have the same body type. Plus, Shadow's model will probably be re-used as an Assist Trophy character again, or perhaps an NPC or boss. So, why not have it as a Sonic alternate outfit=???

On a side note, I would love to see Zelda's Ocarina of Time and Twilight Princess looks return, along with her new Skyward Sword look. It would also be neat if a Zelda outfit was made where she wore the clothing she had as a child in Ocarina of Time.
