Just saw the Pokemon leaks, I'm not believing it until Serebii confirms it. I like the starter Pokemon ideas a lot better than Snivy, Tepig and Oshawott though.

How would that even work? A new Generation within a Generation? WFT?

I could've sworn I heard that one of the head Pokemon guys (I can't remember who for the life of me) kept referring to them as new Pokemon as well. That really doesn't make any sense.

I'm wondering how that's going to work, though. Apparently, both forms are still Dragon/Ice, so I'm not really seeing any purpose behind those forms at all. It'd have been really interesting to see an Ice/Fire and Ice/Electric Pokemon.

They're called White Kyurem and Black Kyurem. How can you think they're versions of Reshiram and Zekrom?

If you know the lore, supposedly Reshiram and Zekrom were born from Kyurem, who got weakened because they took its powers.

It's possible Kyyrem could fuse with one of them to gain back some power.

This is just a theory, based upon the story itself.

Hm. Interesting. But that makes sense. At least Kyurem isn't, like, stealing parts off of them while they sleep or something.

I'd be interested to see something like a "complete" Kyurem that has borrowed energy from both Reshiram and Zekrom.

That movie looks grand. I saw Kyurem use Flamethrower, so perhaps the new forms let him learn form-specific moves, like Rotom.

It's possible that this won't be a new generation but an expansion on gen 5. The new set of starters doesn't really confirm anything it just shows Nintendo creating a precedent. On the other hand gen5 is the biggest gen so far so an expansion may be viewed as excessive and this actually is a new gen alongside the current gen which would also create a precedent. Ladies (are there actually any in here?) and gentlemen either way, if the rumors are true Nintendo will make poke-history. Besides the history they made with making a "2"
