There was an unused Ganondorf design for the Oracle games...thoughts on if this version of 'Dorf should be used?

I'd take Debbie over Skull Kid, thank you very much.

@Bowserlick
Don't look so much at fighting style, but more at play style. He definitely has potential with dagger and teleportation abilities. Look up Lambda-11 in BlazBlue and Vergil in UMvC3.
I think there is also potential in his abilities to make force walls.

Also, in order to replicate the "predict where the enemy is going to swing" play style in Skyward Sword perhaps Ghirahim could have a "stance mode."

A press of down B would place him in a crouching position. Depending on the button pressed next, Ghirahim could do one of four different moves. He might pounce with his swords or do a counter. This would add a mini-mind game element that was inherent in Skyward Sword.

Gannondorf never really struck me as a guy who would pop his collar. While the face is menacing enough, the collar in particular gives more of a goofy impression rather than the "Iwilltakeovertheworldandeatyourbabies" vibe.

Ridley and Bowser are coming from completely different places. It is not size that is the issue, but bodily structure. There are better arguments to make a point out there.
I think the following image should be kept in mind.

Obviously, this is Meta Ridley, but the hack does pretty much point out that Ridley can be made playable if the developers put their mind into it.

Nice image. I think Ridley should not take damage or knockback if his wings or tail is hit (simply have the appendages pushed aside a bit).

The exception would be when Ridley uses his tail or wings has an attack.

An eight-way teleport would provide more options and would be quicker.

I am suprised that there is little discussion about Ghirahim when Zelda is mentioned.

Is he viewed as improbable because he was (possibly) a one game character much like Midna?

And/Or does he just not excite people?
Well that's some good news that I've heard. Besides, Ghirahim is way too overrated, and I never liked that guy to begin with.

WHERE DID YOU FIND THIS?! :bee: THIS HELPS MY TAIL AND WINGS ARGUMENT!

@Metal: Ganondorf, Marth, Roy, Ike. Meta Knight can count, if you look at "long" in comparison to how little Meta Knight is.

I am trying to find a hook for Ghirahim. An multi-way teleport seems to be Mewtwo's thing.
Well, look at this moveset I made a while back.

B: Daggers (Not really trying to come up with names here.)
Ghirahim calls out daggers to encircle him with the snapping of his fingers. Just pressing B will give you one dagger. Hold down B to get up to nine daggers. If you are hit while calling them out, you'll keep what you've gotten so far. When you're ready, press B to release a dagger. Like Fox's laser, this move can be rapid fired. These daggers are low in priority as normal attacks can stuff these easily.

If you have nine daggers, you can hold down B to release the daggers out as buzzsaw projectile that does a lot of damage and holds the opponent in place to start a combo.

Side B: Sword Dash
Dashes forward like Fox Illusion and covers a considerable amount of space. When he passes through and opponent, you can press B and he'll do a slash, this is also doable when you're not passing through. This move's range can be altered horizontally. Great as a recovery move, but you can condition your opponent into blocking which can give him a false sense of security.

Down B: Parry
Sticks his fingers out and will stop the opponent in his tracks. When he parries, he can release his Daggers or the Buzzsaw Dagger if he so chooses. Alternatively, pressing A will have him kick the opponent away. If there are no daggers stored, this is the default option. When the options are available, there is a brief window where you can input A or B for your attack.

Up B: Teleport
Is an eight-way Teleport much like Mewtwo's in Melee. Very quick startup.

Final Smash: True Form
Ghirahim goes into his true form from his third fight. During this time, Ghirahim can toss out Buzzsaw Daggers whenever he wants, completely skipping the gathering process. Also, his weight has doubled both in knockback and gravity and he gets Super Armor on all his Smash attacks. This lasts for about 30-60 seconds.

The daggers are very flavorful. My favorite.

Rest of the specials are in character.

Good work.

It's what I aim for every character. If you want more, I've got a good amount including a Twin-Sword Ganondorf one (look up Gerudo Flip) and a indepth Krystal moveset which includes almost her normals (look up Quake).

Damn. Are there more pictures? I don't want to make an account just to see.
Nope. That's all there is. You see, there was a Ridley size debate that occurred at that thread the other day, and that image came into the picture.

I'm a member of the Kitty Corp. forums, so I have access to the off-topic boards.

The image popped up some time after a Moderator had to stop the debate. Of course, some extra posts were also made to point out that Ridley's size is not an issue; Bowser proved that after all.
Ok im all for Ridley, But Bowser shouldn't count as proof of anything as he can change his size from small to big. Hes done it in games.

Well, it doesn't change the fact that he already appeared smaller in the past, so he could appear smaller and as a playable character in the next Smash.

There's also Kirby, the Pokemon, and even Olimar. If they can't prove that Ridley can be made playable, then something is obviously wrong.

Heck, even Dedede was resized to appear bigger than he really is; Dedede is really around 2 feet tall, when compared to Kirby's actual height; Kirby is 8 inches tall.

I swear Ridley debates, from both opposing sides, are like watching cavemen beat each other with sticks. Just my thought on the matter.

I always get smacked in the face with the Olimar fact.. He is, the Ultimate Example.

I'd like to see Samurai Goroh and Black Shadow be both playable. If the Kid Icarus series can get two new characters, then F-Zero can too.

If you had actually read my list of points way back when, you would realize that's horse****. Bowser cannot willingly grow huge or shrink like Ant Man/Giant Man from Marvel Comics with the exception of Mario Party 9, where he somehow managed to grow at will. The fact that it was a Mario Party, though...kind of not a good indication.

Growth is typically from the use of outside forces, mostly being magic. And his "normal" size has still yet to be determined, as it changes from game to game. Shrinking is usually when he's been kicked the crap out of, and goes to a "normal" size, which again, varies per title.

Until we see ON-SCREEN Bowser growing or shrinking because he feels like it WITHOUT the usage of magic or some other method (such as eating meat or Mario and Luigi supercharging adreneline into his body in Inside Story), we cannot claim he has the same power as Ant Man/Giant Man.

When was the last time they made a F zero game? I only remember one for the gamecube.

I've seen him drink a tonic and then grow big to attack the player in mario party. Regardless if that counts or not, He has some sort of way to grow bigger and then back to normal size.

AGAIN, that's an outside force.

Your argument is that he can willingly on his own grow and shrink, which you have yet to prove.
