No we don't. While people feel that we MUST have more female characters is beyond me.
Characters shouldn't be chosen soley on what genitalia they have.

Anyway...

Guys, I have to apologize for all the **** posts, but I'd like to create a pleasurable roster of what I think would happen in Sm4sh.

Okay, so, picture the Brawl roster, okay? Okay.

Now, let's try to get this workin'.

Mario keeps his **** but with a weaker fireball.

Luigi keeps his ****, maybe replace the FS with something Mansion-based.

Bowser keeps his **** (including having an alternate slot for GB like in Brawl)

Peach gets her B move changed into something actually worth a damn from SPP.

We welcome: TOAD (However with an anachronism stew of personalities from the other toads... y'know, from Toad Town? Paper Mario?

DonK keeps his ****, maybe more lag on his DownB.

DidK keeps his ****, INCLUDING THE BANANA (hey, it's not random tripping so it's alright).

Yoshi keeps his ****, maybe improve his air on the air UpB.

Wario gets a mix of his current moveset and something more Wario Land-inspired.

Link keeps his **** (maybe a nitpick mode to mirror his hands so he can hold a sword with his right hand :troll: )

Zel/Shiek keep their ****

Ganondorf actually USES HIS DAMN SWORD (not constantly, BUT STILL)

TLink stays but with vast differences (restricting him further to only moves/weapons from MM and WW, so he can actually be different)

Samus keeps her hot ****

Zamus keeps her hotter ****

We welcome: RIDLEY (He can work, bite me non-believers.)

Pit keeps his **** (but not being a spammy douche, also his balls have to drop)

ICs keep their **** but have an improved sync thingie.

We boot: ROB (This ******* should have stayed in Mario Kart)

Kirby keeps his ****, learns new **** with his B, same old same old, yada yada yada.

MetaKnight gets NERFED TO HELL AND BACK.

DeDeDe keeps his **** and stops being a chaingrab *****. Oh and he should get The Mask (not related to the movie or character) as a new FS. No more Big Gay Dance.

Olimar keeps his **** but a special selection in the character select menu can have you choose the number of Pikmin available (obviously won't go over 6).

Fox keeps his ****.

Falco gets better air maneuverability and more differing attacks. AND A ****ING ARWING.

Wolf becomes a better badass with stronger attacks, also differentiating from Fox, and an FS where he calls all of the Star Wolf team to gang up on one grabbed victim. Essentially, you execute it next to... say, Fox, he's lunged into the air, we see Wolf fly off in his Wolfen and three other Wolfens join him in a lobby of ****s to hit Fox. To finalize, Wolf jumps off the Wolfen, gives a maddening vertical slash straight to the floor, sending Fox flying away. Bai bai! :3

The Cap is god. Bring him back to his status.

We welcome: GOROH (come on now, he'd be awesome and you know it.)

Pikachu keeps his ****...

We DLC: PICHU (Self-explanatory)

Pokétrainer and his goonies keep their ****

We Welcome: MEWTWO (Still different than Luca, y'know)

We DLC: VICTINI (much better than being a freakin' POKÉBALL. That's like, where the wimps go. Y'know, like Mew and Jirachi.)

We DLC: Jigglypuff (Yeah she's been famous, but it's time we let her go already. She's wasted enough space as is.)

Marth keeps his ****.

We DLC: ROY (you know you want this hot piece of *** with new moves~<3)

We DLC: IKE (Because you're still his friend, right? ...right?)

We DLC: LYN (***** should have been in the roster itself since day one. :<)

We Welcome: WHOEVER'S THE NEW MAIN MAN FOR THE NEW FIRE EMBLEM GAME (Seriously, what's his name?)

Ness keeps his ****, PK Rockin' as a FS.

Lucas changes up his moveset so it's made up entirely of Mother 3-based ****.

WE DLC: JEFF (Seriously, the dude uses ROCKETS. He's like a mini Snake if Snake was a badass at age 12.)

We DLC: G&W (He may have been the first actual Nintendo character, but really... he should be in a museum by now)

We DLC: Any third parties you can think of.

And that's it. Quick and dirty.

Exactly. Right now the only female character that I feel has enough merit for playable inclusion compared to their male counterparts is Dixie Kong.

The court is still out on Palutena and Medusa though. However, as it stands right now, those two are the most important characters of the Kid Icarus series next to Pit.

I say Impa is good, cause then you have BOTH characters as a female. Lesbian feminist couple representation? We already have Zelda as a taboo character cause of Sheik anyways. :troll:

I have no problems against female characters.

I have problems when people think that characters must be in soley because they're female.
If they're female and actually important, like Dixie Kong, Palutena, Medusa, Captain Syrup, etc., then by all means, go for it.
If the only reason you want them is because they have a vagina, then you have issues.
That's my viewpoint.

As much as I LOVE Sonic, I think I want Snake to return more than Sonic

Although I highly doubt one or the other will leave, either both will leave or both will stay

I think they'll stay but wouldn't mind them gone. Especially if we might get a replacement character for them. I might like that better than their inclusion in Brawl.

I would love 2 sonic characters, Snake can go he always annoys me (Broken hitboxes)

Sorry Diddy but I want your nana's nerf'd.

Also I wanted Lyn in since Melee, when she was an assist trophy I was upset.

She deserves to be playable imo...

Didn't Sakurai try pointing out Brawl had a lack of female characters?

I think I asked this the other day.

Don't expect Snake and Sonic as soon as Sheik though. But was just saying my preferences.

Today I kinda noticed Lucas feels like a slightly faster, but weaker Mewtwo in his playstyle a bit...
