Also Sonic Unleashed is canon too.
Ugh Werehogs...
I always considered it an alternate continuity to happen right after Sonic Adventure 2. I mean, why else would they scrap Shadow? But eh, now that Sonic Generations comes out, a Canon game, that theory was debunked. Too bad. I like Shadow and all, but I have no problem with branching storylines.
Has anybody actually seen the Shadow Hack in Brawl? It's pretty well made.

Wario Ware is canon for what? Just Wario Ware. It's not an overwhelmingly large franchise.
If Waluigi appeared in canon Mario game, was playable, had original moves, and had a big role, that would boost his chances, definitely.
Assuming it's not popular or big? What? It has a ton of games and is widely bought. Game series is popular. It's a canon Wario series. Wario started his company in the game. It has a full storyline.
Yes it does. No Wario Ware or Wario Land character stands a chance aside from Wario to making it in smash bros. On top of that, Smooth Moves came out what? In 2006. Brawl came out just 3 years ago. Why wouldn't that put Waluigi in Brawl=???
That wasn't what I was getting at. I was talking about SSB4. Character has been in a canon game. End of story.
If you appear in Mario, you appear in the biggest franchise in gaming history. If you appear in Wario Ware... you appear in like the 500th biggest franchise ever.
It's still a big franchise.
How is Waluigi good smash bros material=??? All of his moves would have to come from spin-off Mario games. There is nothing unique about him. All he's done is a whole lot of nothing. There are at least 2 or 3 dozen Nintendo characters more worthy. Heck, Toad, Bowser Jr., Paper Mario, Mr. L (lulz), and Petey Piranha have a better chance of having a bigger role in smash bros. 4. I said that in Brawl. All kinds of people got angry at me on my videos saying he was a mini-game character double for Luigi only, mad I didn't include him in the roster.
Guess what=??? Waluigi didn't even get considered. He has had no role change since Brawl.
Heck Balloon Fight was in one mini-game. That should automatically makes him have a great shot, minus the fact he could be unique.
No, he has just as much of a chance as anyone. So he didn't do much. He still has an unique moveset from those spinoffs. And yeah, he was one of the big villains in a spinoff. So he did do something. My only requirement is that they need to appear in a canon game. He fulfilled that already. Making a moveset for him isn't even that hard. I mean, why else would they have made a Waluigi hack that's actually not too bad at all. Not the best moveset ever, but they made an unique one for him. You know, fans. If they can do it, anybody can. Either way, he has a chance. He's the most notable spinoff character, and has a canon appearance. Both work for me. Want to know how many canon games Daisy appeared in? One. The difference is that she was too easy to make a joke costume of. Waluigi isn't. Waluigi for Smash.
