UPDATE- i am getting the logitech mx08135135 but now im looking for a cheap good headset

I am getting into CS 1.6 again

i looked up some up but they are the recommended for 2008

Logitech are in the 30-50$ range and are reliable (in my experience at least), though I used them for RTS, starcraft mostly. Not sure how they would perform in an FPS

Don't get a headset. Get phones plus mic! I mean, if you aren't planning on listening to music on them then whatever, but if you want somewhat nice sound it's definitely cheaper to keep them separate.

theres this guy named silverstone oem on ebay selling logitech usb headsets used for $20.

here's the catch, he's selling some pretty ****ty ones. like when i ordered one from him he sent me 2. one of them the plastic was broken at the tip, and the other one just didn't work.

i came up with a genius idea, bought the actual $50 one from best buy, and returned the broken ones saying it was broken.

not comfy as **** ^ but def looks cooler. thats why i got it. but its still pretty good. sound quality, mic quality, its just that it tends to slip off your head after a while since the back band gets worn with use, and doesnt retain its rigidity.

either way, theyre great headsets.




or you can go to frys/target/costco/best buy/radio shack and buy the 20 dollar logitec headsets with the interchangeable color plates. i used those for a while and they were pretty good for its price.





also, oscar.. youre not getting glad this season.. seeing how you just got to 2k, with furious? i didnt even know you can still get furious.
