melee was played on a projector in front of hundreds of people. brawl GFs were forced into a hotel room. kinda makes the hecklers seem pretty douchey.

They had to close the venue. No money to pay for another day lol. I remember them blasting the speakers to try and get us to leave during Losers finals lol

all I know is if I were at genesis 2 id be bringing in my own megaphone.

so that when they start booing I couid inform the entire melee community as to why they mad and why brawl is more technical than melee and has better graphics and other irrelevant to gameplay things that make brawl better and how tripping is the best thing about brawl and makes it better than melee in every way. - MFGK

I...

wow... this literally left me speechless. I try avoiding fights between both games. But brawl is more technical then melee? better graphics maybe, but most people neglect all the minute details found in melee (I mean stop and look at Marth's gloves or something).

Just wow haha.

I am seriously going to bring a megaphone to the next regional/national brawl+melee tourney i attend and am going to do all of that. no sarcasm.

I have split feelings about M2K getting shot down like this. It was pretty much a 12.5k check being written out for him in advance, and now he doesn't get to collect it because he made a poor decision (to forfeit, then lie about it) all because somebody had a big mouth and didn't want him to get away with it.

Well, it's questionable as to why he would forfeit in the first place. It's like 2008 when people said he intentionally lost to make MK look less broken..........
