New mexico lets get some power rankings!!!

Panel > point list, for reasons cosby stated (he can't make all our tourneys, we can't make all his, let's just judge this based on everyone's opinions, if we have to have power-rankings at all in the first place ;D)



Anyone wanna lemme know what the next big tourney is going to be? o.o

Apparently no one understands what I mean when I say points.

I'm not suggesting some soulless assembly line system here. I'm suggesting five or so panel members, a point system determined by those panel members that would assign an appropriate and proportional amount of points to placing at tournaments, and the panel members close observation of who beat and lost to who in a bracket.

One person could have more points than another and still be below that person. That's where the panel comes in.

However, I've resigned my enthusiasm or care for this at all. I will strive to be the best regardless if there is a list or not.

There is an obvious amount of negativity to a list anyways. My efforts wouldn't be appreciated and Steven's revolting description of it being another pointless display of "e-p3nis," as he put it, has robbed me of any sort of ambition.

Personally, I don't give a shi* about power rankings. Sure, every other region wants to set up a list about who's better than who. Well, why can't New Mexico leave rankings alone? We don't need to publish opinions to the rest of the world. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. If you were about to argue that rankings aren't opinionated, well unfortunately for you, the vast majority of the smasher population takes rankings as fact.

No, rankings are not set facts of who's who here in New Mexico, BUT it's an activity for those interested and it would be fun to read the opinions of others
