That game about sky pirates and a moon chick about the 6 or so moons and how main moon lady character's brother or something is the main bad guy would have been so much better but the random encounter rate being bad when compared to even Lufia 1's really made me put off finishing it for a while. They did tone it down in the GC remake at least but even then I was so grateful for the part in the story that let me finally avoid random battles on the world map at least.

I still don't know if I finished it fully because of what eventually happened to my memory card though.

Also main character is kind of broken with the whole rain of swords thing when it comes to random battles late in the game at least. That certainly made the boomerang pirate chick less useful though what with the whole taking out groups things easily, but to be fair at least her defense stuff is ok even if overall she is one of the least useful characters in that game that you are forced to have with you for all of it.

Also my guess on who your Avi is Vyse and all of his Pirate's Wrath from Skies of Arcadia, and may the guy who programed the random battle system for that game be no longer allowed to work in that area of gaming, unless he made up for it in some way.
