Lol I actually I do the same thing if a stage is on the CP list I'll have it and if there's a stage in CP/Banned I'll add them to CP.
I just like having all those stages on plus people don't go to them. And I know people say cause of the stage hazards it makes it bad, but really most stages give you a warning or is set on time. Norfair for example you can see the pillars of fire coming from the back and for the one on the side camera always zooms out towards the side the wall of lava is coming so I don't really get hit by it unless I get thrown into it. But since I played all the stages I know how each work so I rarely get kill by hazards.
I think is funny that some people will say that stage is bad for their char and I'm always like yeah that's what a CP is suppose to do.

And I've watched some of the Love Hina anime a long time ago, but I feel the manga is better. I highly recommend you read it.

I really don't see what the problems with Japes are. The design is pretty cool, I like the tiny platforms. And yeah, some characters are going to perform better there, but that's going to be an issue anywhere. Japes is one of my favorite places to play, not neccessarily with Ness, but just in general. I love Delfino Plaza for Ness. Spiking people when they're swimming is good stuff.

Yeah MK tends to just find some gay way to just abuse the stage one thing I saw when I was using this kind of stages way back is that when people CP a weird stage the other person will go MK FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF however because people still don't know the stage as well as you do since you CP things like this could happen

It's one of them love story manga. Although it has been made into an anime, which is equally, if not even more, amazing. I recommend reading the manga first, then watching the anime.
