Also, if this is sorta related to the topic: I'm definitely going to main Lucas and Pikachu. Ness is honestly looking to be like an alt type character for me...if only for pure nostalgia. Lucas seems to have been given all the improvements I hoped they would have given Ness. But I'm not here to start a debate I'm not qualified to engage in. I'm just speaking from what I've seen. So please don't jump on me and say I don't know what I'm talking about or don't try to defend why one is better than the other. I simply said I'm more interested in Lucas than Ness [although some things about Ness look sweeeeeeeet. He seems to have infinitely better grab speed and range which makes me sooo happy =D]

That's exactly what I thought, up until No... I mean until I played brawl. Now I disagree with it (Pk flash still sucks balls though).

I used Lucas. I liked Ness more however. Lucas' pkt recovery is much more similar to Ness pkt recovery in melee aiming wise (for me at least).

soooo apparently different gamestops have different rules and capabilities. My whole crew and region is spreading everyone out as much as possible to increase the chance of at least one of us taking a title somehow. So we're each going to different GameStops. The one I'm going to is having: A MELEE TOURNAMENT. sadness oh well, I might record some of my first Ness matches [may not post em though] because it'd be sweet to have a frame of reference later on when I get the hang of Brawl.

I agree. Although I'd have thought Ness would have a hard time getting around lucas's range, and t's true that both of them can use PSI magnet, Lucas is the only one of the two who can actually advance and attack with it while simultaneously absorbing the projectile.

For example, not only will he jump off the stage and absorb Ness's PK thunder recovery, but he'll zap him further out in the process. (Silly as that is, since Ness can't recover anyway once the bolt gets absorbed.)

But Ness certainly has the speed advantage. I love watching Lucas vs. Ness battles. PK Fire/Thunder clashes are epic epic epic!

Also, NoNessNoProblem...in those vids in your sig, your Ness seemed really unresponsive and needed work on teching and spacing. Was that just the wifi lag?

And yes, it's lovely to see Simna already doing wonderful things with the new length of PK thunder's tail.

Wifi makes everything look slower...those are some off games and i still win..Ask Simna he's played against my ness. I'm trying to incorporate more PK Fire and yoyos in the mix but if u aint busy maybe u can play me. i also need to work on defensive maneuvers

You honestly won't be able to recover after PSI Magnet hits you and you have no second jump. Even with PKThunder2. The knockback from that thing is almost horizontal and pretty significant.

And I can't wait to see a good Ness ditto between you two! Likewise, I'm also hoping that me living in Australia will prevent me from having a good wifi match with you or Simna some day. Curse that lag!

Australia Mate? lol in all seriousness i'd love that matchup of u and my ness. I suck with everyone else so Ness is my main guy till i'm retired. These matches are off games..I'm using more PK thunder and Yo-Yo cuz of nice knockback. I'm always open to tips from other Ness Mainers.

I'm a risky PK user. i sometimes abuse it and try so hard to hit i forget anything else..that's guna stop soon though
