Hey, when you meteor cancel something in this game, does it still make that "whoop" noise and give you that white flash to let you know you did it right? Cuz if it doesnt, it may be hard to differentiate improper or late meteor cancelling to escpaing spike hitstun.

meteor cancelling was jumping after the move completes, but before the stun wears off--which is why ganon's was harder to meteor cancel ganons, the initial freeze of his stomp messed people up, so they tried jumping too early.
With regards to spikes, you could only jump after the hitstun wore off.
In brawl, I don't know, but as hitstun doesn't last as long...?

We did testing, you can't meteor cancel at all. You have to wait for hitstun to wear off before you can take an action again.

If anyone is, I'll take your word for it, but if you're wrong I'll never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, trust you again.

One time when I was edgeguarding snake he came up with his up-b and I smacked him with the bat and then faired him. He was almost KO'ed out the bottom when he used up-b again. I jumped out, daired and spiked his *** to hell followed by pkt2 which was hit perfectly and barely reached to the edge.. Ill upload the video when I get the chance. It was beautiful.
