Inui, you need to charge Kotc to be there. You should get a cut of their house fee. Why the hell should you provide a FREEEEEE venue to them, while they don't provide you with anything.

And don't say concessions, there's a ****ing Wendy's.

You are a NASTY LITTLE BOOGER that is tainted with ANGER and IGNORANCE.

Our arrangements are simply none of your business.

YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT WE ARE GOING TO DO OTHER THAN LEAVE THE SMASH THE WAY IT IS.

Please don't let me get Suicide Fox on here.
Inui is also my friend and I'm gonna help him out. He's providing you with a free venue, which is hurting our smash tournaments, he better be getting something out of it. And lol@urcaps, brah.

Cool, Suicide said he will be on here after work to make a statement.

We look forward to working with INUI and STRIFE.

It's not about help trust me on that one.

Suicide is a long timer that is sort of like Yoda in many ways.

Let's see how things go the first time. If my crew doesn't make money off of them being there, I will have to change the arrangements.

Who's suicidefox?

If they don't attract any players, you will in no way have my support of them being there. Whether you care or not is irrelevant, just letting you know.

Sounds like crytime. Isn't he the most defensive person you've ever met?

Suicide fox ran the smash stuff back in like... 2003-2004.He fell off the earth around 2007. He appears sometimes.

Yo if gears will happen there

i'm so winning that :3
Maybe, Raw Talent (4th seed in MLG) usually takes the crown, though last event they did not show and Newnez's team took the top spot.

There's also 2v2 and (MAYBE) FFA.

IT'S MAHVEL BABY.

Seriously though, the non-smash events should have the MAD house fee.
So it's ok to charge non-smashers extra but not the other way around? Sounds contradicting and selfish to me.

I try to show up from time to time, as I am, in fact, a time traveler. Though I only can go forward...

But yea, this event(s) we are planning with Inui and crew has great potential. Since Brawl came out our problem has always been to bring in new blood for the smash events. After 2 events of Brawl I retired, since I could not get into the game anymore and it was becoming increasingly difficult to bring in players. Hopefully, Inui is up to the challenge. Just remember this is starting off as a partnership between KOTC and Inui's crew. Yes he is providing the venue but he gets advertising on our website and through our sponsors as well, so it's win win for both parties. If all goes well things can grow and become something more. Let's cross our fingers and work for the best.

Also, I may, possibly, could be, perhaps participating in the smash event. Though I haven't touched Brawl since April of it's release. Melee though, is a different story...

To be honest i wouldn't do 4v4 without my team XD
it would be a waste of money as you said Raw Talent would take the crown i did face them online though in a friendly scrim

I think i would honestly either take FFA or even 2v2 if i can find a legit partner but i haven't played in so long so i'm thinking top 10 in both

there should be gears 1 friendly setups XD lol

All of this sounds pretty cool but getting people still seems odd to me. Advertisement for Inui is nice and all but smashboards and aib seem like perfectly good sources for brawl players who take this game seriously(play at events anyway). I would assume that all of the people already attend events and are basically good at the game for the most part,in the area, have been competing already. I can't say I see how this will help much. People who play other games of course will see the brawl events but will that really encourage them to participate? Doesn't seem likely to me, but who knows, I could very well be wrong. Just some things that I'd like to be elaborated on a bit

They have little glossy cards Kai, they place them in like the most amazing places [Stores and stuff, all amazing ad-ing, I'm sure you know]. You have no idea how many cards I found on my way to school this year.

True 2v2 is more probable. But don't give up on the 4v4, if you have a solid team you could do well.

I would do Gears 1 friendlies but all the systems will be used for Gears 2.

Joooooooeeeeee. Ye old negro. It's going to be nice to see you again.

It could help bring in new blood, players unfamiliar to both SWF and AiB. It could help to expand the community, at least in this region. Usually have at least 20% of the players at our events are new.

I'll def be around to help out; I'm something like a mere 30 minutes from your hotel up Route One starting August 20th, seeing as I'll be at TCNJ this coming semester. Seeing events be big and regular occurences would be amazing and would really help the community.

Random @ Diem: Patch 3.2 yay or nay? I've been away since Saturday so I haven't got to touch it yet.

Bad news for ya'll, and mostly myself.

My dad might be moving to Florida, meaning no more free venue. :(

We at least do one event, though.

seems like a great idea all in all

idk how concessions would sell with Wendy's next door though; Baconator is too good...

Wendy's hasn't been allowed in the venue for a while, it's unhealthy, and it's also movement and potentially missed matches / DQ if you're not 100% confident your match can be held off while you eat.

true but i mean you can eat at the restaurant, and i would assume most of these smashers don't really care for healthy foods or any of that haha.just sayin.its not a bad idea though. Inui would get a big thumbs up if he pulled this off :bee:.
