Alright, time for my 2 cents.
Collapsed for spoils.
The episode is great, i've seen it 3 times already. LOVE it. Pinkie Pie felt... better. Animation feels a wee bit smoother, if at all possible.
I liked the teamwork in the beginning. Enjoyed it giving a small summary of there strengths, and friendship bond. Still faithful and strong.
Now, one thing that did bug me. Corn? APPLEJack grows corn now??? I could understand if they threw in a cousin that moved in named Corngress or something. But I just feel like there is some explanation needed.
Might have been just me that saw it this way, but I like how they targeted bronies for a second, having Pinkie Pie say Chocolate Rain. Assuming Faust knows that we are familiar with memes. I hope that continues. Throw a little humor that the mature ones would understand.
No Angel, or Anyone else's "pet". Sort of hoped to see at least Angel, but I don't mind that much.
Now. Discord. I like him, I enjoy the, "I want to play a game", Saw idea. I love how Celestia and Luna teamed up to take him out. What I DON'T like, is how he looks. It's mostly the random giant tooth, and the chicken arm / leg. Other then that, LOVE him.

Well, you don't exactly till a field to grow apple trees. I'm not surprised there's a few more crops here and there. It's a farm after all. Just a heavy focus on apples.

I agree the new episode sucked. The entire first half of the episode was lol but the entire last half of it sucked donkey balls. The plot was predictable, it didn't have enough humor, the writing wasn't as good as it should've been, etc.

True, the first half was kind of cliche. As mentioned before everything is so predictable. Imo the worst part was how Twilight solved the cotton candy, chocolate, big apple, popcorn problem in an instant. It felt so not believable
Also, where is Luna? She and PC are friends again, shouldn't they be more... together?
It gets better when they're in the labyrinth and I liked the more serious tone in this episode

After catching onto their elements being reversed, it was obvious what was gonna happen. But you can't say each of their reactions weren't fun to watch.

My biggest complaint is probably how it feels really rushed. Everything is going by really fast. A problem the other pilot had too.

Nah I found the first half to be the better half imo. I couldn't get enough of Pinkie Pie going nuts over the chocolate rain lol. I'll admit though seeing Rarity go insane over a rock and having Discord actually have to directly hypnotize Fluttershy over how nice she is is actually pretty funny lol. The rest of the labyrinth is... eh.
And eh, the show's a cartoon about magical ponies and rainbows. I don't know why, but I don't think serious should be part of this show's story imo. Overall this episode is about as bad as the first two episodes of the series were imo. I liked this one about as much as I did the first two ones tbh

i liked it, just because if theres something i think ill like, i will, unless its truly terrible
there was humour in both formes, first half was standard pinkie stuff
'woah hold on guys, chaos...with chocolate milk rain!'
and then second half was considerable darker, with cruel fluttershy hitting pinkie, and then she got mad at AJ for laughing, whos comic timing on the 'err...chocolate milk' line was damn near perfect
