Only thing I do not like about Melee is that a good player will never let a newcomer to learn stuff slowly.
They just see an opponent and mash buttons like crazy, letting them learn nothing about anything, like DI, follow-ups or recovery options.... IMO

I'm not really that much of a douche, but I do play like a black person.. x-x; But that's who taught me how to play, so I accept it. Yelling out: "OH!" when something's about to hit or miss, smack talking "Where you at?" etc etc..

yeah i know. did you ever get into brawl? its by far more user friendly
to be a top melee player you need a decent level of tech skill, something i dont posses XD
but its okay, come live with me, me and my scene will make it all better (namely because im terrible at melee, youll easily be better than me)

That's how i felt on MvC3 whenever i tried to take it to a competitive level XD
Pinkie is amazing :D and you really are like her irl. Which makes me wonder why you main Fluttershy.

I do all the time at tournaments :D but hey, don't let ppl get'cha down. There'll always b haters out there. But that's what we have eachother for, right? We pick eachother up when we fall, pull eachother aside when something's wrong, stay loyal, and whatnot.

aha! just the same as my college life! get up at 6, leave house at half 6. bike 5 miles to station. get hit by hungover driver on the way. get on train, get to nearest city, walk to college. actually get to college at 9. be dead by the time i get to college XD
and the same on the way back, only replace 'hungover' with 'pissed off'

that is why i didnt do well in college, and now im at the ripe old age of 18 and going to do shoddy work XD

Getting hit only twice a day? That's pretty ballsy. Is college different over there in Europe? Mine's just like highschool, cept you have to pay for everything yourself.
